One of our finest actors, with a deep Scottish accent and a real screen presence. He's a definite in my top 20.

More brutal than handsome, I tend not to watch him in things like Highlander or Game of Thrones, though he looks good in both. They're just not my kind of thing.

As McCall in Shetland or Harry Woods in SS-GB, he excels, even if he's not the main event.

Can't find any of him in gloves, though. If anyone spots any, let me know.

Nearly at the end of ‘Colditz’ and here are my thoughts:

Major Mohn looks and acts like Huth’s spoilt younger brother who he never mentions. I mean look at him:

Character writing is second to none.

Most of the British officers are interchangeable but I love them anyway.
