AmAth #5 or really #6 since I didn't title the previous post.

This is just a combination of facebook posts.

This is me on the bus on the way to downtown Austin. People went really hysterical. Took pictures with many of Austin's finest.

So far Austin has been fun. Even though I slept and missed all of Friday's panels, trip and fell on my knees downtown ripping my pant knee and bloodying up my knee (sometimes when you play the Unicorn of thrones, you pay a price). Tomorrow I gotta (or I choose to) get up for a panel on Parenting. Will update as the time goes on.

AmAth Con Update #3

930p: Hey Mississippi! 1040p: We in weezyana Midnight: not much has happened. Still in Louisiana. Here, all I can think about is the Wal-Mart song, because he mentions the Louisiana Purchase Card, heh. Jordan's driving now. We've still got a long ways to go. I can't respond to any posts at the moment because my phone can't handle tumblr's api, but when I can I will.

AmAth Update 2

Right after I posted the last update, we passed a Delorean. Also, for those tuning in, we are headed to Texas not Tallahassee. That stop was just for gas. Haha. 8p: Food stop at Arby's since Kyle and Emily scored a bunch of coupons. This restaurant in particular played some rather lovely gospel songs. Getting more gas. Car 2 is about 70 miles behind us. Not that we're racing them and all. "We just crossed into Alabama. Well, let's hope we're outta here before dawn, my invisibility can only go on for so long." Still alive.

AmAth Con Update 1

Currently in Tallahassee. Tallahassee sucks is the consensus in the car. The amount of pro-life billboards we've seen, so wheeeeeeee. Coupled with other religious billboards and bumper stickers we've seen. Jordan's taken many pictures. Kyle and Shane have developed Southern accents. My Jamaican accent hasn't switched on. Emily is keeping sane as well. Still the only black guy on this trip. Still alive. Here's a quote for this update, "I have as much faith in gas station food as I have in God. Guess that makes me a Gas Statheist?"
