SSA@UCF First meeting of the Summer Semester

Secular Student Alliance at UCF is a club on campus dedicated to making a community for secularists, atheists, and humanists.

Atheists in Florida Will Distribute Godless Literature in Local High Schools This Thursday

There will also be a pizza party for everyone at the First Unitarian Church of Orlando, a free thought friendly Church!

SSA Potluck at Lake Claire Sunday at 12!

Secular Student Alliance is having a potluck tomorrow at Lake Claire to celebrate the end of the Spring Semester and a very successful year for our club! Anyone is welcome to come and hang out with us for a bit and enjoy the nice weather. A lot of food, cups, plates, napkins and such are already being supplied but everyone is encouraged to bring some food, though it is not necessary. 

Lake Claire offers free "navel craft" rental such as kayaks and canoes to anyone with a UCF student ID! There is also volleyball courts and tether-ball.

We will be under the pavilion starting at noon on Sunday! So come hang out with our super friendly and really really ridiculously good looking club ;)

Do you have questions about atheism? Are you a person of faith who questions atheist beliefs? Do you just want to know what we do/ talk about as a club? 

On Thursday 4/18 Secular Student Alliance will be hosting Ask and Atheist outside the student union! We welcome people of all faiths to ask us any and every question about atheism! Hey, or you can just ask us what our favorite color is.

Ask all of your if, hows and whys about atheism or just ask us our personal beliefs! We will try our best to answer your question to the best of our knowledge :)

We will be outside the student union from 11am to 2pm, wearing ask an atheist stickers. Don’t be afraid to approach us, we’re actually really nice people ;)

On July 14th at 1:00 PM, Teresa MacBain will be coming to UCF. Teresa is a former pastor of a United Methodist church and director for the Clergy Project. She will be talking about her story and the future of secularism.
