Alpha House, Day 17, Part 5

I got Luke a keyboard, since he keeps wanting creativity points.

April: Do you think people will visit other planets in our lifetimes? I mean, apart from alien abductions - but who knows if they even make it to the planet, or just stay on the spaceship.

April: Hi, Scot!

Free pizza!

Free books!

April went out about 3am, to get tired enough to sleep. She ran into Scot, had some free pizza, and studied for some skill points. At one point she had a want to call Buck, but it rolled away before it got light.

Gamma House, Day 17, Part 5

Virginia: Hey...

Woody: So, about that date...

Virginia: So, um... we have these rules... but what happens if someone breaks the rules?

Woody: What do you mean?

Virginia: Well, usually, if there are rules, there are consequence when you break them.

Woody: Like, what, you want us to start... punishing each other?

Virginia: No... not punishing. Just... it has to mean something.

Woody: You need something like this to stop you wanting to hurt me?

Virginia: No, it's not like that... We're not the kind of people who never cross a line, Woody. We're messy. It's not about punishing each other. It's about how we repair things when we mess up. I don't want to hurt you... but I know I probably will sometimes. And I want us to have a way back from that, because losing you... it doesn't bear thinking about.

Woody: Okay... how about, if one of us messes up, we don't just say "it won't happen again", we fix it?

Virginia: Fix it how?

Woody: By doing something to show them they're still your priority. Something intentional, some quality time.

Virginia: That could work... And... and I think if one of us crosses the line, we should pull back.

Woody: Pull back?

Virginia: No seeing other people for a bit. Like... a reset. A reminder that we come first.

I thought when they decided to cuddle under the stars they'd actually be under the stars, not on the covered DJ deck, but never mind...

Woody: Let's go home... I've heard positive things about make-up woohoo...

And we'll see if this will fix things, or just mean they have something different to fight about next time.

Because I'm pretty sure they'll be a next time!

Barracks, Day 17, Part 5

Ophelia's home! (And she's brought the General with her!!)

Tank: Want to get something to eat? I think I heard Ophelia come home - we could go downstairs and heat up the leftover spaghetti.

Scot: Sounds like a plan!

Tank: Oh. ... Hi, sir.

Buzz: Son... not dressed in the middle of the day?

Tank: Scot'll be down in a minute. Please... please be civil.

Buzz: Ah, that explains the state of undress. You surprise me, boy. I'd've thought you'd be using a free day to get some serious training in, not burning energy on things that don't build you.

Tank: Not everything that builds a man looks like a workout, sir.

Buzz: ...

Tank: Oh, hey, .. babe.

Scot: ... Alright, soldier? ... Afternoon, General.

Buzz: Unbelievable...

Scot: ... did I miss something?

Tank: He's unimpressed with how we spent our afternoon. I don't care.

Scot: ... and was that "babe" for my benefit, or his?

Tank: Bit of both.

Scot: Well, I'm going to enjoy it, either way.

Tank: You'd better.

Nice power move, Scot. (He just sat there and stared into space, for ages).

Mann, Day 17, Part 2

Rich: Since when are you taller than me?

Candy: Since a special someone bought me these awesome new heels, babe.

Rich: Oh... and how might you look to thank this special someone...?

I'm not sure what Loki and Jenny's problem is.

Quite the audience!

The car is a little more private.

Better get home, Johnny!

Candy seems to be less interested in dating Ripp when I play her household, these days, but she never turns him down when he calls her.

Alpha House, Day 17, Part 4

Luke's still plugging away at that college fund (and his creativity skill).

This is the life!

Meanwhile, Goldie had a swim, followed by some time in the sauna.

Goldie: Hey, Virginia - want to grab dinner?

Virginia: Sure!

Goldie: So, how are things with Woody?

Virginia: Yeah, they're good now. We've had a proper talk and everything... and things are good with Ripp too-

Goldie: Virginia! You can't have all the boys!

Virginia: I didn't mean like that... well, kinda... but it wasn't fair the way I used him at Johnny's party, so I talked to him and explained things.

Virginia: How's your wedding planning going?

Goldie: Um... we haven't talked a lot about it, really. I think we'll get married from my dad's place, before we start our military service. Then comes family housing, living next door to Dixie and Harry, which'll be nice.

Goldie had already left the lot by this point, but I spotted a fight breaking out - Ripp vs Dove.

Dove'll fight with anyone.

Curious, Vidcund & Mary, Day 17, Part 1

Mary: Who's a good fluffy?

I swear I'm not forcing the kids to fish - they actually have the want. It doesn't hurt that it's good for the family finances.

Kaelum caught so many boots...

...but he did eventually get a fish!

Mary put a little garden in. Kaelum has a nature OTH, so hopefully he'll help keep on top of it. Any money they don't have to spend on groceries is money they can use to pay off the mortgage.

Eden: Mama! I'm home!

On Sunday, Vidcund had to work, but Mary had the day off, and spent it at home with the boys, waiting for Eden to get back from Val's at lunchtime.

Ripp & Scot, Day 17, Part 14

And Scot's about to start the final semester of college. He'll probably live alone for it, unless he can persuade River to move in.

And then... graduation, and the big wide world!

Ripp & Scot, Day 17, Part 12

Scot: I've missed you...

Tank: Me too... long-distance sucks.

Scot: Way sucks. Not long til I graduate, though.

Neither of them talk about the elephant in the room - living arrangements after Scot graduates - but they're going to have to talk about it sooner or later.

Scot made scrambled eggs as his contribution to the party, then just spent most of it dancing with Tank.

Of course Tank's got to check in on his littlest brother.

Cute!

Scot's trying to make friends with Buck. He figures the kid needs as many people in his corner as possible.

Ripp doesn't seem to mind only having one girlfriend at the party.

I lost Johnny and Ophelia for a while, then found them hanging out on Scot's bed.

Time for the Grad party.

Initially, I filled the whole thing with girls he's dating, since jealousy wouldn't be any issue, but then I changed my mind and filled it up with friends and just one girls he's dating - Vidalia, who he has the best chemistry with.

The General, of course, was not invited.
