"If my brother is calling, I answer it."

Like the rest of the world it seems, where I live we're currently in a heat wave too. I have neighbours behind me with a pool, so on sunny 30+ days like today I hear kids splashing and laughing and fighting and crying and singing. All sorts of things, and it's always delightful. Kids being kids, you get it.
Today, while picking weeds, I overhear the kids enjoying their summer. They're playing some jumping game, usual stuff. That is, until one of the boys a little more trouble-prone than his siblings makes his jump.
"Hey, wait. Wait, wait. I have an even better idea."
He laughed and laughed getting into position, whatever it was. The other kids were not impressed groaning at his antics.
"Get ready, get ready," he told them, moments before his big reveal:
"Walk upon me."
The tone shifted, he was serious. No one said anything. He tried again:
"Walk upon me, everyone."
The other kids did not walk upon him.
I thought this was peak comedy. I had to stifle my laughter. Maybe you had to hear it in this kid's highly animated voice, but "walk upon me" is very Ripp Grunt energy to me.
So ends today's tale. I hope everyone is having a great summer so far. Stay safe and cool. 😎☀️
Ripp Grunt, Day 19, Part 5
And she stayed the night!
Ripp Grunt, Day 19, Part 4
Woohoo!
(I kinda get this being Crumplebotted, but these are still unedited pics from a T rated game...)
Ripp Grunt, Day 19, Part 3
Better clean up if he's having a guest.
Sticking to sandwiches seemed like a sensible option.
Vidalia: So, did that monstrosity of a hot tub make the move with you?
Ripp: Sure did!
When he got home from seeing Carol, Ripp did some flower arranging, took a nap, then called that old faithful standby, Vidalia.
Ripp Grunt, Day 19, Part 2
They don't have any chemistry, so it took a while for things to warm up; they both had romantic wants the weren't close enough to act on, without the help of a chemistry boost...
...but we got to slow dancing in the end.
Ripp can see things aren't going anywhere today, but there's always next time.
Carol has to go meet the boys of the school bus, anyway.
Ripp Grunt, Day 19, Part 1
After his cooking disaster when Candy was over last night, Ripp decides he better stick to fruit and yoghurt for breakfast.
Ripp: Hi Carol - it's Ripp... yeah, that's the one... I was just wondering if you're free to hang out later... okay, okay, I'll call you a bit later and see where you're at.
Who are you thinking about going steady with, Ripp?
Ripp: Hi, gorgeous... boys off to school alright? ... I'm at the Swimming Hole if you wanted to hang?
Ripp woke up thinking about Carol Bellum, so he called her after breakfast, but she had to get the boys off to school, so he went for a wander to the Swimming Hole, played some chess, thought about the concept of going steady (boring!), then called her again.
While Tank was at uni the rest of Grunt brothers tried to keep themselves out of their father's frown face either by spending time together or each on their own.
Buck has always felt quite lonely despite his older brother's efforts to feel that he matters. Maybe he can find someone who can connect with on a soul level...
I wanted them to have very romantic first kiss in front of the bonfire but time wasn't in our favor and the boy left right at the same moment the fire was lit... Maybe next time
Extremely rare sight of father and son going somewhere by the same transportation at the same exact time
Another case of vanity in Strangetown
As soon as Ripp transitioned into an adult he moved out on his own to live exciting independent life full of romance
And a little bit of gambling
If I were Charlatan I would rethink this move thrice (and two more times after that) but you do you
It was a matter of time that these two would find each other
The date initially didn't go too well as they'd either argue or not like any interactions but it eventually all ended perfectly. I bet it wasn't the last time they hooked up. Surprisingly they were first woohoo partners for each other... I thought Chloe was more experienced but that's fine, just surprising.
They seem like a perfect couple, both not interested in traditional relationships, both rebellious souls... I might make them be in an open relationship later, we'll see...
