Alpha House, Day 19, Part 3

Now she's graduated, Goldie's got plenty of time to make breakfast for everyone.

Rocky: Hi, Vidalia!

I wonder if he's talking about Vidalia's sister Pearl's "affair" with Woody?

Rocky just can't wait for Delta to get here!

Goldie's enjoying being graduated, and happy she can stick around until Luke finishes his semester.

Meanwhile, Rocky's had a date want for most of this semester. He has good chemistry with Vidalia, who he ran into on his community lot wander, but he didn't autonomously interact with her in a romantic way, or roll any specific wants for her, so I think he's waiting for Delta.

Alpha House, Day 19, Part 2

Despite saying he was tired earlier, Buck found himself still awake at 2am, unable to sleep.

Maybe a run will help him switch off?

Worth a try, anyway.

Meanwhile, Jasper and Brave were getting acquainted. So far, so good.

Buck: Who's a good boy?

April: You're quiet tonight. You okay?

Buck: Yeah, I'm alright. Just... tired... or, I dunno, not really tired, just... flat. Sorry-

April: You don't ever have to apologise for feelings, Buck.

Buck: ... instinct. The General doesn't "do" emotions...

Woody's always up for learning a new dirty joke!

April: C'mon, babe, make your mind up!

Buck: Sorry... I don't know what I want... chicken, maybe...

Buck: What time's your class this semester?

At Alpha House, it was already late, and since Goldie, April and Buck weren't tired, I sent them out on a campus wander so they'd be able to sleep.

Sticking to sandwiches seemed like a sensible option.

Vidalia: So, did that monstrosity of a hot tub make the move with you?

Ripp: Sure did!

When he got home from seeing Carol, Ripp did some flower arranging, took a nap, then called that old faithful standby, Vidalia.

They don't have any chemistry, so it took a while for things to warm up; they both had romantic wants the weren't close enough to act on, without the help of a chemistry boost...

...but we got to slow dancing in the end.

Ripp can see things aren't going anywhere today, but there's always next time.

Carol has to go meet the boys of the school bus, anyway.

Ripp Grunt, Day 19, Part 1

After his cooking disaster when Candy was over last night, Ripp decides he better stick to fruit and yoghurt for breakfast.

Ripp: Hi Carol - it's Ripp... yeah, that's the one... I was just wondering if you're free to hang out later... okay, okay, I'll call you a bit later and see where you're at.

Who are you thinking about going steady with, Ripp?

Ripp: Hi, gorgeous... boys off to school alright? ... I'm at the Swimming Hole if you wanted to hang?

Ripp woke up thinking about Carol Bellum, so he called her after breakfast, but she had to get the boys off to school, so he went for a wander to the Swimming Hole, played some chess, thought about the concept of going steady (boring!), then called her again.

Weiss, Day 19

Skye doesn't recall saying he was happy for the General to join him at the chess board, but join him he did.

Skye: ... so I've come to get a pet, since my dog passed away - excuse me, I must say hello to my daughter.

Skye: Well, aren't you a beautiful girl?

Skye: Let's hope you get on with Ebony. We could even have baby kitties!

Skye: Hi Beulah. The wedding was gorgeous - pass on my thanks to Scot for inviting me.

Skye was popular tonight - he had this phone call from Vidcund, then one from Osiris, then one from Rocky!

He never did interact much with Beulah. Looks like Ivory's decided it's her duty to terrorise the womrat.

Skye spent his evening in pursuit of his favourite hobby.

Ivory's found the catnip mouse!

Skye spent his day off getting himself a new cat - the place was too quiet with Woody and Ebony moved out, and Brady gone.

This one's called Ivory, and she's female, so maybe we can breed her with Woody's cat, Ebony, when he gets back from college.

Looks like Dixie and Harry have come to say hi to Naomi.

She's already learning to scratch her scratching post and eat her own food.

Tank: I think Naomi understands her bed is her bed.

Scot: I for one wouldn't mind if she decided she'd rather sleep in here with us.

Tank: Me neither...

Tank: But not until I've finished with you...

Scot: Oh yeah? What did you have in mind?

Tank: Wait and see...

Woohoo!

Then they were up bright and early the next morning, having breakfast together before one of them (I forget which) has work.

Scot: They're all so floofy! How do we choose?

Scot: This one?

Tank: This one.

Scot: Hi, Naomi. Do you want to be our kitty?

Tank: I like your tight trousers...

Scot: Tank!

Tank: I love you.

Scot: I know. I love you too.

Tank: I don't know if you really know how much I love you, though...

Tank: ♫I will love you better, I will love you better, I will love you better, I swear, I swear, I swear♫

Despite their dinner earlier, they were hungry enough for a second dinner.

Naomi's happy too!

After a post-woohoo nap, Scot and Tank got up and headed into Widespot to adopt a cat, who I named Naomi after Naomi Osaka's win I was watching at the time.

She's so floofy.

I miss my floof.

Scot: You've gone quiet. What's up?

Tank: Nothing, just feeling philosophical... but happy... just... wondering where I'd be now, if I'd kept repressing how I felt... I'd probably be making Goldie miserable... you'd probably've found someone else-

Scot: Never! Who else could there be?! Anyway, I know just how to distract your mind from its musings...

Tank: Yeah, that was a pretty good distraction...

Scot: I'm sure I can provide an even better one if we head on home.

Tank: Home... our home...

Vandermorgan, Day 19, Part 2

Tank: You know, I liked it today when people asked "who's that new recruit" and I could say "that's my husband".

Scot: Yeah, it has a nice ring to it, doesn't it: husband. But you mean to say you didn't say "that's my gorgeous husband" or "that's my sexy husband"?

Tank: ... or "that's my big-headed husband".

Scot: Hey!

Beulah's a big fan of her new son-in-law.

Tank: I love you, Captain.

Scot: Back atcha, soldier.

Tank: So, you still want to get a dog?

Scot: Actually, I was thinking about a cat. They're more independent, and we'd have to have a pet we could leave all day whilst we're at work... I love saying "we"... I love being married!

After work, they headed out on a lunch date.

Vandermorgan, Day 19, Part 1

I should've changed their names before I moved them out. Nevermind.

I'm hoping this haircut is short enough to be military approved. It still feels too short for Scot. But he can grow it out again when he's done with his military service.

And off they go for their first day of work together.

I'm bored of this chance card now - but I guess that's my fault for keeping recruits on their starting level for four days before I let them get promoted.

After the wedding, Tank and Scot moved in to their own place - the two-bed apartment in Family Housing. I meant to take pictures of it, but it was too dark when they moved in and then I forgot.

Land, Day 19, Part 7

Tank started serenading his new husband even before I'd noticed they were back from their limo ride.

Delta: Dad!

Delta: Are you okay?

Homer: I'll be... fine... just need a shower.

We eventually got the computer fixed so Scot and Tank could move out!

Land, Day 19, Part 6

Beulah made soup and pork, but mostly the guests just went for cake.

Speaking of cake... I believe the top two tiers aren't functional in game, but it doesn't look great, Apollo clearing it up in the middle of the party!

Homer: You are hands-down the most beautiful woman at this party...

I wondered where Buzz had got to, and found him playing chess with Goldie. At least he's keeping himself out of trouble.

Scot spent some of the party playing catch with his brother-in-law.

There wasn't a lot of dancing at this party, but Homer and Beulah did their best.

Limo time!

Naturally, they raised the roof!
