Uhhhhh what branches of magic do each of the magic trio specialize in? (Enchantments, tarot, flame reading, crystals etc.)
This has been 90% complete in my drafts for half a decade so I’m just going to post it. Thank you for the ask if your still here somehow 😭 I don’t know much about magic on a whole so this is more fantasy than anything but I fear it will sit in my drafts forever if I deliberate it anymore.
Hws Belarus (she’s an honorary member idc): Divination. Natalya’s canonly good at tarot so I think she’d also know some other forms of divination. Can imagine the likes of Arthur asking for her help to find where he’s misplaced something.
Hws England: Arthur feels like someone who would have tried a lot of different things but I imagine he’d be good at enchantments (can also read tea leaves ofc). Lowkey feel like you don’t spend that much time out at sea without developing a few superstitions so I think he’s good at making safety related charms. Feel like his house would have some impressive wards around it. (Also feel like in a fantasy AU he is kitted out in enchanted jewellery.)
Hws Norway: Lukas also has wards around his home to ward off evil spirits or something (he likes his magical friends but would rather not deal with more troublesome visitors). He’s also the best at making potions in the group. Could also see him having a lot of crystals too.
Hws Romania: All I wrote for him was summoning so bear with me as I try to lock into my thought process from half a decade ago. Generally, feel like he’d choose whatever he finds the funnest; be that something that looks cool or something that he can prank people with. Lowkey seems like the kind of guy that would haunt your house for the fun of it.
(but it has been so long since I’ve been locked into the hetalia headcanon mindset so take it with a grain of salt. I’m going off vague recollections of his personality.)
