SO after going back and forth with support, I don't really have true answer about how the daily collection is supposed to work, but I think I've figured out some things.
there are 16 total locations (as detailed in the original quest)
you'll collect 6-8 dolls for the daily
those daily dolls seem to appear in the same spots depending on the day of the week (think like the Pandoric portals in Epona)
each doll grants Trailblazer Points
The chart below marks off which dolls are found where on what days. I am hoping its the same for everyone (and that it wont change). If you are more of a map person, I've made daily maps, below the fold!
it includes a list of recipes with their ingredients and a list of ingredient locations that include location names, coordinates, and pictures… it took me an ungodly amount of time so please check it out! :D
also, i am going to be relying on crowd-sourcing for most of the ingredient locations, so if you happen to find any ingredients that aren’t currently on the list (which is more than likely considering i didn’t get that many coordinates) feel free to DM me/send me an ask with the location name and the coordinates (and maybe a picture too but that’s optional)!!
i’d really appreciate it if you guys reblogged this so other sso bloggers can see… thank you!!! :3c
SPOILER'S AHEAD! If you don't want any hints about today's story update, keep scrolling! If you need help, well, keep reading!
There is no particular order you need to collect these, but I've tried to group them in a way that makes a decent path if you want to repeat collecting them daily

So. I had heard that light was a good banking strategy, especially if you make different size stacks to have custom selling amounts. I thought I was doing pretty good getting about 2k light a day just by running around and doing the puzzles. Of course I'm still unlocking things on the paths, so I haven't been selling it.
I stumbled upon this reddit post where people are sharing tips and tricks and my god??? GARDENING??? Can get you so much light??? And in turn, so many shillings???? And just in time for the Equestrian Festival???
Hey! So it look's like today's update actually released some changes to the horseshoes that are for sale.
The horseshoes previously in Global Shop have been REPLACED by ones There are new Horseshoes named after Conrad Maarsden (which makes sense, he is the farrier who teaches us how to make our own horseshoes) available in the Global Shop
Conrad now has his own shop in Moorland, at his forge
The Druid/Aideen shoes are still available in Valedale across multiple shops...mostly
I am not sure where the Aideen's Runners or Standard Horseshoes are for sale now. If you have bought them previously, you will still have them. Honestly, there is no difference to them vs the Maarsden ones, except you don't NEED Keepers of Aideen repuation to get decent shoes now.
I went through and screenshot all of the stats and prices for the shoes I could find. Below are all of them, including some of my notes to help guide your purchases.
One Series
One-Two Series
Two Series
Three Series
Aaaand just a little appreciation for this squirrel keeping Conrad's books as he's busy making us all horseshoes now
EDIT: The horseshoes previously for sale in the Global Shop are STILL AVAILABLE! I forgot by default it hides owned items.
This morning, SSO releases a bunch of new options for first and second horse names. I've tried to sort through and pull which are new.
Did I find out when I was 70% done that SSO had already made the list public and that all of my time was wasted? Yes, but I refuse admit my efforts were in vain.

I'm working on a video guide for archaeology. In researching I couldn't find a reference I liked for what colors were at what coordinates (don't get me started on the wiki image) and what order to hit them. Most of the path/routines I found hit all of the fossils on 1 track, which probably works for most people, but I really love doing this as 4 sections (like the better-in-every-way Epona Archaeology) This also helps if you're grinding a specific color.
HUGE SHOUT OUT AND THANK YOU TO APPLE (@apples-stables)!! She helped me come up with and test drive the paths, as well as kept all the numbers straight in my head. I legitimately couldn't have done it without you <3
Anyway, here are the coordinates in the order mapped above. I know some of it doesn't LOOK like it would work (it looks like you're skipping nearby fossils on the map, but really there's an elevation difference, obstacle, ect) but it actually feels pretty good running it.
