Mythical Creatures of Jorvik
Dragon Edition
A dragon-like horse that is said to live in the Ashlands, near the dormant volcano. They were greatly revered during the Medieval Era, being depicted in many stories and on the flags of Houses.
These creatures eat meat and breathe fire, like dragons, having a variation of spikes/horns/finned spines with thick scales and frontleg claws. But they have a horse's body and hindleg hooves, with no wings.
There are two major species, with minor species within them.
DRAKE
Aldrach and Faramawr are types of Drakes. They have four claws and their scales are more vibrant and colourful. They are often associated with gemstones, hoarding them away like irreplaceable treasure.
LOONG
Keima and Ryume are of the Loong species. They carry a crown of horns and have three claws. In stories of old, they are often seen flying over large bodies of water.
