when i saw "I know they're losing and I'll pay for my place" and i was like "oh sweet i'll read it after i sleep" and i ended up dreaming about reading it and it being about something else instead bc for some reason my mind interpreted "warnings: gruesome death" as mc slowly dying from some illness or curse and geto refusing to leave her side while his associates are Very Concerned and geto does everything he can to find a cure even though mc asks him not to😭

i started reading through your manga recs last night and im loving shadows house so far. im such a sucker for slow worldbuilding where you slowly figure out how the world works along with the protagonist. emilico is such a sweetheart ;v; i love how even tho she's naive and optimistic she's not brainless and starts to question the rules of the house. we love character development!!!

i love emilico too 😭 she's so precious!! And Kate too. I ended up liking Kate a lot more than I thought I would tbh

I don't wanna give out too much bc I'm not sure where you are but the other characters are also very good!! also the more questions that get answered the more you have 💀

thought: when rip!mc comes back from her research trips she sometimes gives shoko some curses to dissect. she just. hands shoko an abomination and is like, "shoko-chan i got you a present 🥰💖." and shoko's like, "aw, you know me so well <3".

since you like totsukuni no shoujo i think you'd like somali to mori no kamisama too! it has a similar premise of a monster taking care of a human girl and trying to protect her from his own kind. unlike totsukuni no shoujo tho this story involves a lot of traveling and encountering other monsters with somali disguised as a monster. the art's gorgeous too.

even tho shoko's cursed technique is towards healing i feel like it could be used super useful in battle offensively like using it to really screw up a curse's regeneration. thots as a shoko stan?

THE WAY IVE EXTENSIVELY THOUGHT ABOUT THIS LMAO

we haven't gotten a lot abt the reverse cursed technique aside from the fact it takes negative energy and turns it positive to heal BUT I feel like there are different forms of it considering

1) gojo can also use the reverse cursed technique but he can only use it to heal himself?? (which is what he did during the fight with toji + to not fry his brain from limitless)

2) shoko's reverse cursed technique is a form that even gojo cant use (which is what yaga says during the shibuya arc) which is used to heal others so the questions are can she heal herself and can use her power offensively

I want to say yes bc I think logistically it'd make sense but I feel like we need more on what exactly it does other than just "healing"

being gay for utahime is a mood. her scar makes me 😳 i find it funny that you mention being okay with shoko ending up with utahime bc i imagined a scenario where rip!mc finds out shoko's dating utahime and she's like. she might be a lil sad but she's genuinely happy for them. it's like fulfilling that lotr prophecy where no man is good enough for shoko but utahime is no man.
