Even though I have been working on Snake Scales and Serpent tails for a couple years, I only started posting it last year. The first few chapters went up June 6th of 2020 and now we’re just a few short days away from the 1 year anniversary.
I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I started posting this! 2020 was a hard year for the entire world and for me personally it was a year of a lot of ups and downs.
The most amazing thing about this year though, for me especially, has been the amazing support that I’ve gotten from you guys! If not for the comments, reviews, reblogs, etc, I probably would have burned out and lost interest a long time ago.
Here’s to hopefully another year of successful writing and world building in Snake Scales and Serpent Tails!
So, I think I need to clarify something about my fic Snake Scales and Serpent Tails:
It is in fact a Harrymort fic. Harry x Voldemort is the end goal. Them having little adorable snake babies is the dream. It will be just them in their happy home with Voldemort going off to work everyday ruling the world and Harry teaching his little snakelings how to fly at the ripe age of 1 (and giving both Hassaria and Nagini heart attacks in the process)
That said, people seem concerned about a comment I made in the most recent chapter regarding a new love interest for Harry:
Its a plot device meant to strengthen the bond between Harry and Voldemort as well as to help Harry grow as a character. Remember Harry is 16 right now and he hasn't really been in a relationship before (i dont count Ginny or Cho in this fic). Hes a teenager with teenage hormones. Hes going to get a crush like any other healthy teenager. That crush is going to flirt back because what sane dominant would ever turn down the clumsy flirting of a cute young submissive?
Spoiler: the crush is going to let Harry down gently. Hes going to see the way Voldemort and Harry stare at each other and hes going to not want to break that romance up. Hes going to be the last step of Harry realizing that Voldemort is "the one"
Thats aid, we have a very long time and many chapters before he even comes into play. This is GOING TO BE a very long fic.
