I wanted to drop a line to you about the book you’ve published, specifically your recent memoir about your Experiences with Heisenberg. Lydia stares at the email she’s written and, taking a deep and shaky breath, promptly sends it. It’s risky, perhaps, to approach Skyler in any way after the nature of their interactions in the past, but something within Lydia leaves her longing to connect. To someone, anyone who can understand what it’s like to have survived through Walter White’s terror. Being a survivor of that, and a survivor of ricin poisoning specifically, is rather isolating.

Maybe it’s foolish to do so, and maybe Lydia will regret it even just minutes later, but for now, it’s out in the open.
