Can you explain more on who Angel is? I don't know much about Ssum.
Hello Anon!!! I'm not the most knowledgeable on Ssum either 🤔ᴴᴹ but your local Cheritz enthusiast is on the case!! Here's what I know!! ^^
Angel is not actually called Angel but 1004!! The number translates to that name in Korean, which is why we call him Angel. He is a most mysterious fellow who has, to my knowledge, only appeared twice in Harry's route, changing the chatroom's background to a series of ones and zeroes, similar to how Unknown did in the MM prologue
Angel's role in Ssum involved being able to hack somehow into the chatroom and offer the player the option to either view a good future of Harry or a bad one. In Angel's second appearance, I believe he only gave a bad future?
This is all I can gather about Angel in regards to the Ssum. In regards to Cheritz's other games though....
I've gathered that, first of all, Angel's way of speaking seems to resemble Seven's? It might be possible that Angel is Seven, considering:
The aforementioned similarities in speech
Seven's 1st appearance in MM after the prologue is a chatroom at 10:04
Hacking the app
Having a number as a name
And this is only a theory (though a very strong one) but Seven is most likely a Wizard, and Angel possesses the power to show the player the future, something that probably wouldn't be possible for a normal person
Also the fact that we already know that MM and Ssum take place within the same universe/pocket dimension
Idk if Angel is Seven idk. But it seems way too similar to not at least be a reference to Seven
The references to Angel don't stop at MM tho. The number 1004 is seen in Nameless at least once
1004. The main character's address. The rest of the address lines are references to both Cheritz and Crobidoll, which leads me to suspect that the number 8282 might also have significance somewhere else, altho idk where I'd look to find that out

Ummmm but that's all I know. Idk if Angel is Seven, it seems quite likely, but if the person in the teaser Cheritz showed is Angel, I don't think the face looks like Seven tbh. Different face shape. Tho I kinda agree with ppl about the use of the character wearing a cloak similar to those worn by Mint Eye followers. That's an interesting addition
There may be other ppl who are a bit more qualified to answer this ask than me idk. When I'm browsing on Tumblr, I only check out the Cheritz tag and Nameless The One Thing You Must Recall tag so I only looked at The Ssum tag today to do a bit more research on this.. I've never even played Harry's route and I was playing June's but recently uninstalled the game again because, even with June, it's still god damn boring and I hate the gameplay of it
I will reblog the posts I used to research this immediately after posting this tho. But. There's this one really good post I saw where I first learned about Angel and I can't find it for the god damn life of me. I believe it's on @natsuneages blog and the title is Cheritz Boys with Red Eyes Have Powers, and @zealousfanprunewolf commented on it about Angel but I can't god damn find it guys aaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!
Feels painful and empty but on the other hand feels healing and accomplished ... Like is something more i did until the end and worth it ... As a neurodivergent i have a hard time finishing things not gonna lie and yes i thought of stopping to play earlier because im my head if i didn't really finish the game i still had game to play... I know that is dumb and the fact the game makes him part of my routine is also why it probably hurts more... Is like he was always there ... Is basically making a year since i had given a break of the first time i started to play in April of 2023... Then I came back in January of this year so was me and him always ... Sure i played at the same time the other 3 routes but he was the one always there and was so fun... We also shared so much in common so i kinda end up healing parts of me because of him and he was weirdly there when i was close to having panic attacks in public so is like a friend i had i guess ... This is so dumb but I guess i need to leave this written for my future self ... I hope the others also make me this attached i guess but we will see ...
i know a lot of people think the “Angel” 1004 that first appears on day 74 of Harry’s route in The Ssum is Seven just based on their mannerisms but i’ve been wracking my brain trying to make sense of the name 1004 and i just realized 10:04 is the TIME OF THE FIRST CHATROOM THAT SEVEN APPEARS IN ON THE FIRST DAY
i honestly am taking this as confirmation that the angel 1004 is saeyoung in some capacity and i think the reference is really sweet besides 🥹

Having people over for the holidays wasn’t what Harry thought would be happening right now, but his house was bustling. Although not many people were there, they definitely made it seem that way. Jay was in the kitchen getting snacks, Zen was sitting on the couch talking to you, Teo was talking to Joseph and Kola, Minwoo was somewhere Harry isn't sure where exactly, and Yuri and Doyoung were passing out drinks.
Harry was a little overwhelmed as Teo hadn’t even asked to invite all these other people. They just showed up. Harry was a little shocked and excited to see you though, you always made him feel better... even if he didn’t act like it.
“Hey, Harry, can you help?” Jay asks, rushing past with at least 3 bowls and plates stacked on top of each other. Harry didn’t understand why they needed so many snacks, but he didn’t mind as long as they cleaned up after.
“I’ll help too.” You smile, excusing yourself from your and Zen’s conversation.
Harry followed you into the kitchen and grabbed the few remaining things. You both walked through the doorway into the living room.
“Ah!” Teo calls, pointing to the doorframe. You both look up and see mistletoe.
“I fucking hate him.” Harry sighs.
“You guys can’t move until you kiss!” Teo laughs.
“Can we at least set the snacks down first?” You ask. You both knew Teo would keep to his word, but he also loved food. He hesitantly nodded.
“Why are you encouraging this?” Harry questions, as you both stand back in the doorframe, the snacks safely on the table.
“You are too, you didn’t have to come back.” You pointed out. “You are bigger than Teo, you could probably swing him over your shoulder and throw him into the snow.”
“Maybe I want to see how this goes.” Harry smiles. You both stand there for a while, just looking at each other, trying to gauge each other’s movements.
“For fucks sake...” Zen groans, you both turn to look at him, his head hanging off the back of the couch. “Just kiss and get it over with or we’ll play the movie without you.”
You both turn back to each other, neither one of you moving still. Hesitantly, Harry leaned down and pressed his lips to yours softly. His hands placed gently on your face and waist. The gentleness is what shocked you, he wasn’t a very friendly guy.
He slowly pulled away, your noses still brushing against each other. His blue eyes were slightly dilated, his breath somewhat labored. You felt your heart thrumming in your throat, you wanted to say or do something, but your shock still had ahold of you.
Harry pulled away completely, clearing his throat a little before stepping out of the doorframe, a blush dusting his cheeks.
I already know a lot of people have read Harry's personality wrong.

Harry's a Sag. Case closed. The cold front is a facade. We have our proof right here. Seems he's just been hurt. My next prediction is that he's actually a fun-loving, adventurous, jolly type who appreciates humor deep down. Let's see if I'm wrong.
I still think he secretly appreciates Teo, perhaps. Honestly, if the game script is anything to go by, Teo being a bit of a "naiive" sort is actually really compatible with Harry.
