‘ yeah but this is all my mom, if you know what i mean, ’ his mom was good at preparing ahead of time, and christmas was the one holiday that she prepared a month ahead for. the moment halloween ended, his mother was definitely starting to plan for christmas, but only now made him go out to buy some stuff. especially since she knew he might not come home for the holidays.
