Wednesday night I got to take the stage during @seastartupweek and host/emcee #PitchBlackSEA for @hacknation_sea!! Although I've done on-camera work before, this was my first paid hosting gig outside my 9-5, first time speaking in front of 150ish people, and first time being solo front and center on a stage! I really appreciate @taelorev and @kenny.shelton for trusting me to host their event! The work they're doing with @hacknation_sea in Seattle is very needed. Thanks to @braxtonp013 for creating #PitchBlackPDX and giving a voice and platform to entrepreneurs of color who need the representation... and thank you to all the sponsors of @seastartupweek for a plethora of dope events!
