12: unpopular character that I think should be more popular: in fandoms we share, I can't think of an unpopular character that I like. I guess I would have liked to have had more Gaila, because early Orion in Starfleet would have been awesome and I'm sad she got killed off in the first movie. (I think she and Tendi should meet. I wonder if there's any fic about that)

20: part of canon i find tedious/boring: post-season-8 SG1 has some good moments but... Tee Bee Haitch the best part is always the Jack/Sam dynamic and once it's gone... it doesn't hit the same

sorry for the vulcan spamming, i really gotta make a star trek side blog, BUT

the Kelvin timeline movies are such a mixed bag but the acting is impeccable. I can't forgive ST 2009 for destroying Vulcan but this right here? is exactly how a human who mind melds for the first time and gets hit with the full force of vulcan emotions should act

Like, I can buy that Jim is experiencing Spock's feelings about his people's genocide and the destruction of his planet. The movie overall really undersells how unfathomably traumatic that should be but Pine's expressions are top-notch. His eyes!!
