A note about recent protests.
It's interesting that when we think back to the Civil Rights Movement or the Stonewall Riots, most would agree that the police were wrong in their brutality and actions. But when faced with similar issues and delibrate police brutality today (with even more evidence from modern social media and recording devices), the police are just doing their jobs and everyone should just do what the officers say. Cognitive dissonance and compartmentalization are dangerous states of mind my friends.

I just think it's really important that y'all know that the media is claiming mr.Brown attacked the police officer who shot him, that there was widespread rioting across the city that began on the very first day of the protests and that the officer who shot brown is on paid leave and will be reinstated soon. If anyone can source this please do, I'm getting all of this information from television and radio news and don't have a link able source.
