so I see pics of CCTVs bundled up in one spot a lot
cameramen habitually gather up into small tight groups even when there's tons of space around
and follow each other's gaze

I would like everyone, who has followed me on the crazy writing journey with Something There, to know that for this line and metaphor (dialogue written by the genius Trivia @hptriviachamp ):
I am going back to reading the original Adam and Eve story so I can perfect the metaphor (as hot as it is I'm not married to the last line) - I am definitely going to hell for this and I'm fairly certain my man JC has atoned for this sin. For that I am eternally grateful, amen to him.
(And yes the Ungodly line is 10/10 inspired by Oliver Jackson Cohen saying it as William Weightman in Emily and we're reclaiming it as a hot line!)
cams have the wildest body language to express themselves because they're usually silent and rely on it and sign language.
speakers do too, but they mostly dance and make various noises to communicate the rest
tvs are stoic mfkers that barely move and just show emotes and talk
cams & speakers are very confused by lack of movement in tvs, leading to their reputation as emotionless and overly serious
and probably some miscommunication
a cameraman takes out a cloth and wipes their lens dramatically like they rubbing their eyes in disbelief
if u startle a speakerman they yelp with distorted parts of a song, noise garble or random notes like someone slapping a piano
Speakermen don't need light to see and occasionally hang out in the dark without realizing
sometimes some poor other unit walks in on a very noisy pitch black room
ominous noises from the dark doorway
lights get turned on
a dozen speakers frozen in various ridiculous poses all around the room, now silent
the speaker base is constantly noisy. there's jus sound everywhere from all the speakers. they're all completely used to it and feel unnerved by how quiet the tv and camera bases are
you can always tell there's speakers in the cam/tv base because they're being habitually loud and it carries thru the silent hallways a LOT
Cameramen can broadcast their POV to specific screens at will
They use their POVs to spread information quickly, mainly war news or tech, which makes them best at tech because they can immediately share what everyone is doing.
also they get into extremely elaborate "POV: you are [x]" chain memes
