On This Day in Baseball History May 4, 1910: President William Howard Taft does what a Baseball fan does by attending two different games on the same day. 

On the day that President Taft praises the game of Baseball, he attends the St. Louis Cardinals vs. the Cincinnati Reds at Robinson Park. When the game turns into a blow out, Taft leaves the game to attend the St. Louis Browns vs. the Cleveland Indians at Sportsman’s Park. That game ends in a 13-inning tie, which President Taft watches to the end. 

This comes roughly three weeks after President Taft becomes the first President to throw the first pitch on Opening Day.
