I wanna be loved by you, just you, nobody else but you…
Stacy lay in bed staring at the ceiling. Her eyes traced shapes with the dots on the tiles, similar to constellations in the sky. Next to her, a clocked ticked slowly, almost as a form of torture. Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick. Surely this must be Hell, or at least some sort of purgatory. Sighing, she sat up and looked over at the clock.
3:47 PM.
Once again, she sighed. “She should’ve been home by now,” the woman mumbled. “I hope-“ She cut herself off. Cecily could handle herself, she wasn’t a child. But Stacy couldn’t help but let her thoughts run away from her. What if she was held up in an accident? What if she was the one in the accident? What if she was held up at the store by some stranger?
Everything that she wanted to do was already done. She’d cleaned her room and the children’s room, then tackled the living room. Four different soap orders had been filled, all pertaining to the customer’s Valentine. In the end, she had to stop because her hands were shaking too much due to anxiety. And after that she started baking a cake from scratch.
Cecily was working at her vet clinic today, even though she had requested to have today off. And since Stacy had today off, that meant that they couldn’t spend time together until Cecily got off work. She normally got off around 3:30 and got home at 3:40, but something seemed to be holding her up. Should Stacy go and check on her at the clinic?
No, that was too much. Stacy checked the time again. 3:52. Time seemed to be taunting her today. But why, out of all days, would Cecily be late? It was Valentine’s Day, they had planned to spend as much time together as possible. That same ticking sound began to fill her head. Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick.
The doorbell rang, making her jump. That must be her! With a giggle and a hop, she skipped through the house to the door. Upon checking the peephole, she saw the face of a pink teddy bear. She flung open the door to greet her wife.
I wanna be loved by you alone~
“I’m home!” Cecily announced, grinning at Stacy. The stuffed bear in her hands was dropped on the floor in front of Stacy’s feet. “Sorry I was late, I was picking up some things for tonight.” She wiggled her eyebrows, causing Stacy to blush.
“I- well, that’s better than what I was thinking. I’m glad that you’re safe.” Smiling, she picked up the bear and walked into the kitchen, where Cecily put the bags in her arms on the counter. Three boxes of chocolate samples, a body spray that Stacy had mentioned wanting more of, an old cd with romantic music burned onto it, two gift bags full of assorted candy, and a bottle of strawberry flavoured lube. “Oh! That’s certainly a lot of things.”
“But they’re for us,” Cecily replied. “Mostly for you. All the money spent was worth it.” She pulled Stacy down into a kiss, and Stacy wrapped her arms around Cecily’s neck. Her hand travelled to the front of Cecily’s jacket, pulling at the zipper as best she could. Cecily pulled away, chuckling at her wife. “Already? It’s not even 4 PM yet!”
“Shut up,” Stacy mumbled. “It’s a jacket, not-“
“My bra?”
“…yeah, something like that.” Rolling her eyes, Stacy yanked the zipper of Cecily’s blue jacket down, pulling it away to reveal her work shirt. “So, did anything interesting happen today?” she continued, putting the jacket on the rack in the hallway. When she returned to the kitchen, Cecily was already opening up one of the sample boxes.
I wanna be kissed by you, just you, nobody else but you…
“Work was okay, a little exhausting. I was thinking about you all day~”
Stacy nodded, pecking her partner on the cheek. “I’m glad to hear that.” She began to put the food in the fridge so that it didn’t melt.
“Ooh, orange. That’s your favourite, right?”
Stacy grinned. “You know it is, hand it over.” Though she made a motion to grab the chocolate, Cecily popped it in her mouth. The shorter woman grinned. “Ceci, you whore!”
“Oh, and here’s another one!” Cecily popped a second piece of orange chocolate into her mouth and chewed, smacking her lips in an exaggerated way. “What? There’s two boxes left and you always steal the orange ones!”
“Because they’re the best ones!”
Quickly, Stacy snatched the tray from the counter, picking out the last three orange chocolates. And then she picked up a piece of chocolate fudge. “Oh, and this is your favourite! Well-“ With a grin, Stacy shoved the piece into her mouth, along with the three orange pieces. It almost choked her up, but it was worth it to see Cecily feign anger. They both started laughing, making Stacy even closer to choking.
“Okay, I call a truce.”
“What was that?” Stacy asked between chewing motions. By the time she had finished eating, there was drool dripping down her face, making Cecily laugh. “Okay, I’m sorry. Here.” A piece of strawberry chocolate was in her hands, then was being pushed past Cecily’s lips. “Better?”
I wanna be kissed by you alone~
Cecily chewed a bit, pretending to think. “Yeah, I think so. Just one more thing.”
“What?”
Suddenly, the tray of chocolate was back on the counter as she was pulled into another kiss. The taste of artificial strawberry and orange danced on her tongue, mashed against the fudge and some white wine Stacy had drank earlier. They pulled each other closer together, holding each other in their warm arms. Stacy’s eyes fluttered shut.
A warm hand was placed on Stacy’s cheek, caressing her ever so gently. Then Cecily’s tongue pushed against her lips, parting them enough to sneak inside. Stacy leaned against the shelves behind her for support as Cecily deepened their kiss. She fought the urge to let her own hands wander, instead planting one firmly on Cecily’s shoulder and the other in her hair.
Cecily pulled away, leaving Stacy gasping for air. “Yeah, I forgive you,” she said, wiping drool from her own face with her hand. “You’ll have to feed me stuff more often, though.”
“A-alright,” stuttered Stacy, blushing even more than before. “You’ve made your point.
I couldn’t aspire to anything higher…
Instead of continuing to entertain her wife, she decided to put the tray of chocolates back into the box and slide it into the fridge with the others. Then, she turned and gave Cecily yet another kiss, this time on the forehead. “So, what were you thinking about for dinner? Maybe tacos, maybe steak, maybe some soup?”
“Hmm… I was thinking about ordering Subway tonight. Something light and fast. Plus, it means we don’t have to clean up plates!” Cecily lifted Stacy’s hand to her lips, kissing it a few times. She fluttered her eyelashes. “Please?”
“Baby, I’m fine with cooking tonight.”
“Please?”
Sighing, Stacy smiled down at her wife. “Fine. Let me guess, you want your usual?”
___
Once they returned home, Stacy picked up the teddy bear she had discarded earlier. She’d been so caught up in the moment that she hadn’t properly inspected the thing. The fur was a bubblegum pink with black button eyes, as well as having a red ribbon bow sewn on it’s left ear. I could probably make her a cute little dress, she thought. She took a second look at the bear’s stomach and gasped.
Someone had seen a heart into the bear’s stomach with red thread. The thread was sloppy and uneven, so Stacy knew that it was done by Cecily. In the center were a few letters. CE + SR. Even if it was sloppy, it was cute, and that was what mattered to Stacy. Bringing the bear close to her chest, she hugged it tightly.
Then to feel the desire to make you my own!
Cecily was already eating by the time she sat down. The woman practically wolfed down her sub, taking small breaks to chew and breathe. Stacy couldn’t help but smile. It was funny (but also cute) to watch her eat. Her eating was paused once more when she heard Stacy chuckling to herself, and she muttered a little “sorry.”
“No, don’t apologize!” Stacy insisted. “It’s fine, I think it’s cute.” After she said this, Cecily hid her face in her hands. “Aww, is someone blushing?”
“Maybe.”
They both looked at each other, and then burst into laughter. “You’re cute,” Stacy giggled, moving to sit next to her. Cecily had changed into more comfortable clothes, which exposed her tattoos. Her most recent one, which had roses and a scroll with Stacy’s name on it, was Stacy’s personal favourite. It was on her bicep, which she reached over to squeeze. The younger woman leaned forward to steal a kiss, but Stacy backed away.
“Aww, c’mon!” Cecily whined playfully, leaning forward for another kiss. Their lips met at last.
As she moved back again, Stacy caught sight of another tattoo- Cecily’s first ever tattoo. Just over her heart was a red rose outlined in black, peeking out of her grey tank top like a curious kitten. Smirking, she moved closer and poked the flower with a single finger. Their eyes met.
“Alright, I see how it is,” Cecily said, nodding and putting her sandwich down. “I can never have a moment of peace can I?” She crossed her arms and pretended to be upset, but Stacy heard her laugh under her breath.
“That’s right!” Stacy replied, wiggling her ring finger. The silver band glinted in the light. “You’re stuck with me.” Once again, she kissed her wife.
I wanna be loved by you, just you, nobody else but you!
And suddenly, Cecily was on top of her, kissing her square on the lips. They both fell back, Stacy’s head hitting a throw pillow behind her. This time, she allowed her hands to explore her lover’s body. Her hands ended up stuck in Cecily’s hair, however, like they usually were. Cecily roamed her mouth with her tongue and traced every tooth, playing around with Stacy’s tongue every once in a while.
This is paradise, thought Stacy. She opened her eyes for just a second to look at the time, doing a double take when she saw it. 6:38. Had they really spent that much time together already? Or was their clock just wrong? In the end, she concluded that she just didn’t care. Just as she shut her eyes, Cecily pulled off of her.
“I love you,” she breathed. “You’re beautiful.”
“And I love you too.” Stacy sat up and began to kiss her again, being stopped by Cecily pushing her back down. “So, um, is right now too early to start tonight’s fun?”
That being said, if they did get married in a big blowout wedding, Cecily would wear a suit. She doesn't really like long dresses, plus "Stacy looks much better in them than I ever could."
Summary: Stacy brings Cecily a Valentine's Day gift... Or a lot.
___
Cecily lay in the floor of her bedroom. She had been cleaning up, but she got bored and didn't feel like moving. So she simply lay on her stomach and bounced a tennis ball around. Being honest, she had no idea when all of her tennis balls ended up under her bed, but oh well. It bounced back and forth and her eyes followed it.
There were a few little knocks at the door. The woman glanced up, then grinned. "Come in!" she called. Her door opened, revealing her girlfriend. "Hey!"
"Hey, Babe!" Stacy said, waving. She was wearing a fancy pink and red dress and a matching red bow in her hair. "Happy Valentine's Day!"
"Oh man, I forgot it was Valentine's Day. Anywho, happy Valentine's Day, Primcess!" Slowly rising to her feet, she wrapped Stacy in a hug. She was getting old, she could feel it.
"Oh, I have a surprise for you. Sit down on the bed and close your eyes." Stacy patted her head like a child. Pouting, Cecily sat and did what she was told. She could hear her girlfriend leave the room to retrieve something. Then, the pile started.
A few boxes fell into her lap. Then came a card. Then some little stuffed animals and other trinkets. Stacy was notorious for pampering her, especially on the holidays. Finally, Stacy said "hold your arms out!" and she placed something big and fluffy between them. "Okay, you can open your eyes now!"
Cecily did so, finding a large stuffed bear in her arms. It was light brown with a big blue bow around it's neck. She smiled and held it tightly, forgetting everything else in her lap. "I love it! Thank you!"
"I knew you'd love it!" Stacy flapped her hands and jumped up and down. "I love you."
"I love you too, Princess." There was a little poof, and there she sat, demon horns and tail and all. Her girlfriend giggled. "You know what time it is. Come here." After moving her things from her lap to her nightstand, and pulled Stacy into her lap. Then ahe started to plant kisses all over Stacy's face, making her laugh and try to kiss back.
At last, they both fell back against the pillows, breathing heavily and giggling. Stacy kissed her neck, shoulders, and collarbones, making her gasp softly. They adjusted their positions so that they were looking at each other. Cecily's face was red.
"I loved the gifts," she mumbled, running her finger down Stacy's jawline. It went down to her neck, where a little bruise was healing. "But I love you even more, you know that?"
"I do, and I love you too."
Cecily rolled over, bringing Stacy with her. "Now let's sleep."
"Babe, it's 1 pm. We can't nap now." The smaller woman made herself comfortable, however, like she didn't plan on getting up.
"Of course we ca-" Cecily interrupted herself with a yawn. "-we can. It's gonna be fine..."
___
Yeah, they were probably late for their dinner reservation.
