Belated Happy #BookLoversDay and happy #stacksaturday everyone! Here's a pretty rainbow stack and the adorable Iron Spider to celebrate. Also recently rewatched Avengers: Infinity War and I loved it even more the second time around! #prettyspines tag tagged by @paperfury, thank you! 😊❤️📚😍👏🏻📖
“The whole point is the adventure. At least, for his crew, that’s the point. The last true poets of the sea, he calls them. People for whom discovery—like, the concept of the journey— is the treasure itself.”
Going in to this book the only things I knew were that it’s a queer Shakespeare retelling and that a bunch of people had recommended it. Did not expect to be emotionally wrecked.
But through this is a lesson about connecting with people, about reconnecting with people. This is a story about love and about survival, about *choosing* to survive even though it’s a long journey.
This Last True Poets inspired clock is from @rainbowcrate which has been one of my favorite things of 2020

Stack Saturday | Quarantine Library Haul
I thought this might be enough to get me through until this is all over, but at the rate I’m going through them I might be in trouble 🙈 ... Maybe I’ll just reread some off my shelf on the chance I run out 🤷🏾♀️
Stack Saturday | Fiction or Nonfiction?
I’m usually more of a fiction reader, but lately I’ve been drawn to a few nonfiction titles, most of them related to history. Maybe with all this extra time I can actually put some time into absorbing all of this new information - I’ve always been interested in learning about lesser known figures so this might be the perfect opportunity. Which do you prefer?
Stack Saturday | Anthologies
I pushed myself last year to try more short stories and anthologies and I’m grateful for the effects its had on my reading (even if it also means my TBR grows every second 🙈). I’ve been introduced to so many new authors and genres that have both expanded and added to my reading tastes and I look forward to many more of these in the future. 😊
