I made this graphic for All I Saw Was You for @stacksonweek. This is chapter 1 of a series but it works as a standalone because that is what it was supposed to be when I wrote it, and thatâs why this is the longest chapter by far // 14471 words.
Summary: Stiles and Jackson are happily married until they have an accident that changes everything // The story starts 14 years after the end of season 2.
(...)Â The sheriff reaches out and holds his right hand. "Son, you were in a car accident three months ago and like the doctor said, you've been in a coma since then." He doesn't want to remember that night when for a while he didn't know if Stiles was dead or alive. "I've been very worried. We all were..." he says, turning to his left to look at Jackson. "We didn't know if you were ever going to wake up." He hadn't felt more helpless in his life.Â
That's when Stiles seems to realize that there's somebody else in the room. It's not just his dad; Jackson is next to him and he seems afraid to move, he seems afraid to say something. He doesn't have a smirk on his face. He's looking kind of lost.
Besides, he's not the Jackson he remembers. Like his dad, he also looks older and he's lost that kind of confident look he always carried with him. His features are still beautiful, but he looks thinner and tired.
"What's he doing here?" Stiles points at him with his free hand.
And Jackson is just wondering the same thing. What is he doing there? He can scent the anxiety and confusion coming from Stiles and it is driving his wolf crazy. He can't do any of the things he wants to do, any of the things his wolf is urging him to do. He can't go close to him and kiss him, he can't hug him, he can't tell him he loves him, that he thought Stiles was going to leave him, that he thought he might never open his eyes again.
Jackson fixes his eyes on him. "Stiles... I missed you..." There's a hitch in his breath, "So much." That's all he can think to say. A tear is rolling down his cheek before he can stop it. He's frozen. He's speechless.
Stiles raises both eyebrows and throws his hands wide. "Are you kidding me?" It's all Stiles can say because he doesn't understand anything. His dad and Jackson of all people tearing up by his hospital bed. Something is definitely not right in this picture.
How Many Jacksons Do You Know That I Know? continues Emotional Machine, my first Alpha/Omega story written for @stacksonweek // 1072 words
(...) âIâm fucking pregnant, okay?â Stiles blurts out, but he still wonât look at Scott and Scott is paralyzed for a few seconds before he reacts and sits next to Stiles, resting his left arm around Stilesâ shoulders.
âAre you sure?â Scott finally asks.
âYeah, after the third test, I started to be fucking sure.â
âYou should have told meâŠâ The fact that his friend didnât trust him to let him know actually hurts right now.
âI needed time to think⊠to consider my options⊠you know, my course of action before telling you and having to answer your battery of questions about it. And maybe⊠just maybe I didnât feel like answering your questions at all eitherâŠâ
finished for @stacksonweek (a little bit late but shhh iâm here now) // 24,832 words
After the nogitsune, Stiles is different. Heâs quieter, more reserved, chooses his words more carefully instead of letting his every thought spew out of his mouth without a care. He doesnât say much of anything to anyone these days, actually, other than Scott. So when he shows up at his doorstep at 3:00 AM with an emotionless wave and a bag slung over his shoulder, Jacksonâs more than a little surprised.
Not sure if anybody will read this but I need to say how sad the whole experience with @stacksonweekâ has been this year. âSadâ doesnât even begin to express how I feel. I feel disappointed, depressed and upset with the fandom. âFandomâ being the people who supposedly were looking forward to this week and who were supposed to appreciate the hard work of everybody who has participated in one way or another to make this week special and meaningful to them.
I must say that as a stackson writer and as somebody who is not popular in this fandom in any way⊠which means I donât have many subscribers or people who support my work⊠this is, as a nobody in the Teen Wolf fandom, sadly Iâm used to not getting much feedback and Iâm very lucky if a chapter gets 20 kudos these days⊠so yeah, I thought this week was a chance to maybe feel more love from the fandom because people actually seemed interested in it.
The reality is that this rare pair gets lost in the middle of everything else that is Teen Wolf, so there arenât as many works for them as for other pairs (maybe itâs like a 5% being very generous)⊠so here we have a week where we are trying to promote them⊠trying to celebrate them and show our love for them⊠and then nothing happens and writers, artists or whoever, get nothing in return: no feedback here or on AO3, no likes, no reblogs⊠just no response or interest at all, you know? Can you imagine how everybody who participated and spent days or weeks working on stuff to share feels? I suppose that those who have never created anything, canât really get it, but at least they should be able to understand it.
If you ask me, we all have lost our time with it and I even think that there shouldnât be another Stackson Week⊠it feels utterly pointless.Â
Sending hugs to everybody who has participated. Fandom may not appreciate your efforts but I certainly do. Thank you for sharing your work.

Fate Had a Different Plan Than the One in Your Head  || Stiles and Jackson need to make a decision about Kyle's future (after being his foster parents for almost a year)  || 1541 words
When Jackson gets home, Stiles is nowhere to be seen. Instead of calling his name, he listens for his heartbeat and heads there.
âHey,â Jackson says as he enters the laundry room.
âHi.â Stiles looks at him but keeps folding the t-shirt in his hands.
Jackson walks in until heâs standing behind his husband and wraps his arms around his waist, embracing him from behind. He kisses his neck and just inhales his scent without another word.
âI didnât hear you arrive. Youâre back early.â
Jackson had gone to Derekâs to watch some baseball game with Scott and Stiles hadnât expected him to come back for at least another hour.
âYeah, the game was boring as hell and Derek had shopping and stuff to do because Kane is visiting his brother in the hospital like heâs been doing all week.â
âHowâs he doing?â
Jackson lets go of Stiles and moves to the side.
âLast I heard heâs having surgery tomorrow, so it depends on how that goes. It seems like a pretty standard procedure. Derek said the doctors are very optimistic and they expect him to make a full recovery.â
âThatâs good, then.â
âYeah, itâs good.â Jackson nods and licks his lips. He stays silent for a few seconds and Stiles looks at him but doesnât say anything.
âLook. We need⊠we have to discuss something.â
âDiscuss?â Stiles frowns. âWhat do we have to discuss?â Stiles grabs another t-shirt and continues the folding.
Jackson puts his hand on the t-shirt. âCan you stop that?â
âOkayâWhatâs going on?â Stiles raises his eyebrows.
âI know we havenât talked about it for a while but Derek said something today, and heâs right, we need to make a decision about Kyle.â
Stiles turns to face Jackson completely, crossing his arms. âWhat did he say exactly?â
âHe said that thereâs a couple in a New York pack who have been waiting to adopt a child for a couple of years and he knows they would adopt him right away.â
âDoes he even know these people?â
âWhat do you think?â Jackson waves his right arm. âOf course he does. Heâs known that pack for a long time. He totally trusts them and thinks they would be a good fit for him. He thinks⊠you know⊠that theyâd be a good family for him.â
âBut why? Why is he doing this? Why did he suddenly decide to send him off to New York?â
âHey, itâs not a sudden decision. As the alpha, heâs looking out for him. You know he cares about him like we do.â
âNot like we do.â Stiles shakes his head.
âWhat do you mean?â Jackson shrugs.
âWhatâs wrong with you? You love that kid. I know you do. Even our kids have a bond with him. Theyâd be devastated if we shipped him off to New York⊠especially Ilya. It would break his heart, and you know it. And shit, Derek fucking knows it too, so I donât understand it. That man⊠sometimes I donât understand how his mind works.â
âStiles⊠he just⊠well, he thinks he should have legal parents. We said this was a temporary situation until we found him a permanent solution. You know he canât stay with foster parents forever and itâs been ten months.â
âWell, is it just me who doesnât feel like his foster father anymore? Am I the only one who canât imagine this house without him in it? I mean, why didnât you tell him heâs part of our family now?â
âStiles, itâs not that I donât want him here. Of course, I do. But we donât have his parental rights; we arenât his legal parents, we are his foster parents and thatâs the truth of the situation here. Social services might find him another home if Derek doesnât find it first and thatâs why he told us about this possibility. Because this kid is a wolf and he needs a pack, and you know itâs not that easy to find him a family who wants to adopt him⊠and also, the truth is that youâve been avoiding the subject and I donât even know why. So, Derek is not the one to blame here, okay? Heâs just trying to do what is best for him.â
âYou didnât answer my question.â Stiles shakes his head, waving his arm.
âWhat question?â Jackson frowns.
Stiles rolls his eyes dramatically because heâs not a fan of repeating stuff to his husband or anybody else for that matter. âI asked if itâs just me who doesnât feel like his foster father?âShit. How do you feel, Jackson? Just be honest with me.â
âNow you wanna talk about it. About my feelings?â Jackson raises his eyebrows.
âYeah. You need to tell me before heâs shipped him off to New York and we never see him again.â
âYeah, because five weeks ago, I didnât you ask about it and you said you couldnât give me an answer. You said you werenât sure. You saidââ
âI know what I said. What I said was the truth. You wanted something I couldnât give you⊠so you decided to tell Derek to find him a home somewhere else,â Stiles says, raising his voice.
âCalm down, okay? I didnât tell him that. I told him to give us more time to decide⊠so he decided to just ask around. Only in case he needed another home⊠thatâs all. And to answer your question, I⊠You know⊠I donât want him to go. I agree. Heâs part of this family now⊠but we never planned to have another kid and it was my idea to bring him here, so when you said that last monthââ
âI was stupid, okay?â Stiles interrupts him. âI hesitated because itâs a huge responsibility. Itâs not something you can decide lightly and I wasnât sure if I was ready for that kind of commitment. I thought we needed more time, but the truth is that weâre already his parents. Weâve pretty much been since the day we met him and took him home. Since we took him shopping and gave him his own room. Heâs got his school here. Heâs got his friends, two kids who argue with him the way only brothers doâŠâ Stiles smiles and so does Jackson. âHis pack⊠his whole world is here now. And heâs been through so much⊠I could never uproot him again and send him to fucking New York. And Derek is even crazier than I thought if he thinks that.â
Jackson is not going to say it, but heâs pretty sure that Derek never intended to send him away with that pack. Probably, he only did the whole thing to push them to answer a question he already knew the answer to. Derek has his own way of doing things, and he might not always agree, but he respects that and he values the kind of alpha heâs become.
âSo, okay. Are you saying that you want to adopt him?â Because he really needs Stiles to say the words and make it official before he says anything to Derek.
âWhat else?â Stiles asks, resting both arms on Jacksonâs shoulders. âThatâs exactly what Iâm saying.â Stiles grins.
âI mean, you want to, right?â Stiles cups Jacksonâs cheek with his right hand.

Stiles Is All Kindness  ||  Jacksonâs mother wants to know about the place he's found to live with Stiles  ||  1017 words
Jackson is watching some TV when his mother sits next to him on the sofa. She looks at the TV but he knows when his mother is there just because she wants to ask him something. It doesnât take long, just two minutes later the question is coming his way.
âSo, how is the house hunting going?â
âYou mean apartment hunting,â Jackson says without taking his eyes away from the baseball game.
âI thought you wanted to find a house?â Laura furrows her brow.
Jackson snorts. âThat was weeks ago.â
âWhat do you mean weeks ago?â
âYeah, we never actually looked for a house. As soon as I suggested it, he said it was insane.â
âInsane?â Laura frowns. âIs that really what he said?â
âYeah, pretty much." Jackson really doesn't feel like explaining how the whole thing went down, so he's simply going to offer the shortest version he can think of.
"He said it was out of the question because you know...â Jackson looks at his mother. âHe canât afford it." Jackson waves his right arm.
âAnd?â Laura shrugs.
âMom...â Jackson shakes his head. âHe wants to pay half of the rent. Didnât I tell you that when we first talked about it?â
âI thought... I guess I thought heâd change his mind. I thought you would make him change his mind... I thought heâd realize that a house was a better option... especially in the long run. Isnât he thinking about your future?â
Jackson snorts. âYou thought a lot of things... Itâs obvious that you donât know him that well yet. Heâs not gonna listen to meâAnd heâs not gonna change his mind. And that doesnât mean heâs not serious about us if thatâs what you mean. It just means that he wants to pay his part.â
âButââ
âHeâs stubborn, mom. Really stubborn. And this job heâs got doesnât pay much but heâs getting experience and heâs happy⊠and heâs right.â Jackson shrugs. âHe canât pay what heâd need to pay for some apartments weâve seen, much less for a house. So, yeah, for now, thereâs no house in the horizon.â
âSo what? Youâre not living together anymore?â
âOh no, we are.â Jackson nods. âThe plan hasnât changed⊠I justâŠâ
âWhat?â Laura frowns.
âI didnât want to tell you untilâWell, until, it was fixed. You know, we need to paint it, get furniture and certainly fix the showerâŠâ Jackson shakes his head, every time he remembers that shower, he wants to look for some other place.
âOkay, so youâre saying that you found some place but you didnât think you should tell me?â
âWell, it was this morning, actually⊠and I knew youâd like to see it which is exactly what I donât want you to doâAt least not yet.â
âCome on, it canât be so horrible,â Laura says in a hopeful tone.
âNot sure if âhorribleâ is the word Iâd use but yeah, it isnât what I had in mind⊠but, apparently, I lack imagination and itâs going to be so much betterâŠâ Irony all over his words. âSo, donât worry, youâll see it⊠eventually. At some point in time.â
âYou donât sound very enthusiastic.â Laura raises her eyebrows.
âNo, Iâm⊠I donât know.â Jackson shakes his head. âItâs what he wants and given the circumstances, heâs right. Itâs what we have to do. And it's true, if you compare it to everything else weâve seen, itâs a reasonable price, but I wouldnât say itâs a bargain either like he thinks. Although yeah, itâsânot bad⊠I guess.â

I Want "You" | Moving in together isn't as simple as it seems | 1006 words
âJackson, I want this one, okay? I like it. It has enough space for us and youâve seen the other flats⊠we donât need two bathrooms or three bedrooms. The lighting is good, the bedroom is big enough for the bed that we want and the kitchen isnât fifteen years old. What else do you want?â
âYou definitely didnât see the shower,â Jackson says, raising his eyebrows.
âI definitely did not see it. But I was also definitely not looking. And we can change it or fix it⊠you can summon the pack and do a makeover or whatever⊠knock yourself out.â Stiles waves his right arm. âThe thing is that weâre not going to find anything better.â
âYeah, anything better for this priceâyou were missing that part.â
âObviously.â Stiles crosses his arms. âDonât start, okay? Iâve told you that this is our limit and Iâm not going to change my mind.â
âBut I can afford it... Which means you can afford it.â
âNo, I canâtâYou know full well I canât. And we are dividing the expenses⊠so, no, youâre not allowed to pay more than me⊠at least not as much as you have in mind. No fucking way.â Stiles shakes his head.
Stiles takes a few steps and looks at the street through the window. This is the fourth floor and the light coming through the windows is certainly something else to be appreciated. Not to mention that this is the biggest living room heâs seen this week and that is the most important reason why heâs not going to let this place escape.
âYouâre unbelievableâYou're the most stubborn person I know,â Jackson says, shaking his head with frustration.
âThatâs funny coming from you.â Stiles turns around to face Jackson. âYouâre both stubborn and infuriating. You promised youâd be flexible this time. You said youâd have an open mind...â Stiles waves both arms.
âI only said that to shut you up." Jackson shrugs. "You were going on and on about how I didnât like anything and how Iâm so picky⊠Iâd have said just about anything.â
âYouâre an asshole.â Stiles shakes his head. âI⊠I canât stand it when you do that. Iâd rather you didnât lie to me and you know it. If you arenât going to change your attitude, just donât tell me that you will. Iâm not some kid you need toââ
âYeah, Iâm an asshole but you should listen to yourself sometimes. You think you know whatâs best for us and itâs like my opinion doesnât count⊠and I canât stand it when you do that either, but do I tell you anything?â
âWell, youâre telling me now, arenât you?â
âYes, but just because you made me, okay? Because youâre criticizing me and you canât see that you arenât perfect.â
âIâve never said I wasâŠâ Stiles frowns, crossing his arms.
âSome things you just donât need to say,â Jackson retorts.
Stiles sighs, running a hand through his hair. âThis conversation is going nowhere.â They both know how the other is and just saying it out loud is absolutely pointless.
