Another sad development. Stacy King, former Chicago Bulls player and broadcaster of Bulls games for 20 years, has just died. He was a Bull when Chicago was the envy of the NBA, with MJ and its first three-peat (in the early 90s). He also played for two other teams. I'm not much of a sports fan, but when I've been in the mood to watch some hoops, I watched him and Adam Amin call the games.

I offer my best wishes and condolences to his friends and family and also to Adam. What a drag! The two of them had a great rapport, and I always learned a lot from their show.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

This manga adaptation of the Austen's Pride and Prejudice was created by Po Tse who did the art and Stacy King who did the adaptation.  I really like the illustrations and how the dialog moves the story along. It is a really good adaptation and this manga version of the novel gives young readers the opportunity to experience a classic through the format they are familiar with.   I've always loved this story and I truly love this manga adaptation because it is pretty faithful to the original.
