Thirteen years ago, I drew the album cover for Speak Now in prismacolor as a goofy, spacey, love-struck & always crushed teenager in high school. What a time that was LOL. I wasn’t big into Taylor Swift besides liking a few songs that I heard on the radio here and there. But this album.. this is the one where she got me. Won me over and made me a fan.

I didn’t really think I’d be drawing this album cover again—especially after all this time—but I wanted to do something special to remember this time in my life, this album, and this enchanting experience.

So here’s to 13 years later and experiencing it all over again as a goofy, spacey, love-struck adult galumphing through this thing we call life (while trying to look cute along the way). I hope everyone enjoys Speak Now Taylor’s Version as much as I plan to 💜🩷🤍

P.S. yes she’s literally the only thing that interrupted me making my #onepiece collection, but I’m getting back to that 🏴‍☠️ (only 3 sets left before I’m finished, whew!)
