New character design for Petra Kaitellah (the shapeshifter character from my last week's post) plus setting thumbnail sketches. References included- last 4 images.

Different media could have been used for the sketches, such as charcoals and pastels. Most of my drawings are done fine with fine-liners and coloured with either markers or colouring pencils, or both.

How I felt wednesday as it was time for my final review on the beinspired course @staffsuni It went well, i think 😂 But, I can't believe thats it today ! Today I graduated from university. I was awarded a 2:1 in forensic psychology and I'm so happy it's all over. I would personally like to thank coffee for helping me through the long days and nights, as well as Josh for continually supporting me throughout no matter what. Panel example for my new assignment- a 14 page Apollo 11 comic.

The drawing was referenced with a still from a NASA image. The caption, word-balloon, flag and the rockets’s ignition were separately drawn from the background as I was not satisfied with the previous sky background, and so drew a new one. I was advised to add lighter shades to give it an effect of clouds.

Hello,

I am back to the blog with a line drawing from a figure drawing lesson from uni.

That was a good pose to capture. The background could have had more prominence so as to show she is not floating. The use of the orange marker to depict shade was not very effective. I quite like it due it’s relatively minimalistic approach.
