"Turn It Down" by Kaskade Feat. Rebecca & Fiona

Why you'd want to turn it down, I'm not sure. When it comes to Kaskade we're looking at a solidified artist in the house world, with back to back quality releases, singles, and albums that almost always get airplay and club time, it's no wonder they've become so famous. This track, like many others I've heard so far this summer, have taken on a kind of melancholic feel to it. Are we onto a theme? Maybe, maybe not, guess we'll have to listen to find out. My apologies, followers! A lot has been going on in my life these past couple months, aka graduating college. Now that I am enjoying the broke and unemployed post-collegiate lifestyle I have more than enough time to dedicate to this wonderful little blog. Therefore, I will be posting at least twice a week for the rest of the summer. Hopefully Lytt and Stag will read this, but I think it'd be fun to create daily themes such as Tacky Tuesday- the weirdest music videos we can find; Lazy Sunday - the best hammock music around, and so on. So, since it's Wednesday... Womp Womp Wednesday. Be prepared for some dubstep/electro/808 tracks, playlists, and reviews.

So, I'm having a field day updating my fill of the site. Upon linking you guys up with Lookbook I decided to have a peak at the rest of the artists on the label (always a good way to find new music). And guess whaaaat?! I found another awesome band. Two seconds into Decibully's I Want, well... I wanted it! This band also has a pay what you can option- always nice for the broke college student that can't get enough tunes.

Thus far, I can tell you that Decibully has a grungy Midwestern rock vibe coursing through their sound. If you enjoy artists like Tyler Burkum, Owen, Califone, Arcade Fire, and Temper Temper then these guys are for you. TDBYCU makes a great mix tape to pop in for your new adventures or summer road trip.
