can you please explain the stairs thing. i have so many questions.
It started before season two. There was a still (or maybe it was in the trailer) with Carlos comforting TK on the stairs and naturally everyone was speculating like crazy about what was going on in the scene and why TK looked so upset and where it was happening. Nobody thought it would be in Carlos's apartment because we had never seen those stairs before.
Then 2.02 aired and a lot happens in it; tumor cake, volcano erupts, scorpions, multiple people had their skin melt off, Tim dies. It's exciting and dramatic and emotional and then right at the end, TK lets himself into the apartment and CARLOS WAS SITTING ON A STAIRS WE HAD NEVER SEEN BEFORE. Cue, collective meltdown. Forget the volcano and Tim dying. Even Owen saying everyone go home and TK going straight to Carlos barely registered. Everyone was talking about the stairs. Fox was trying to get us excited about the big crossover event, woohoo, and all anybody cared about was CARLOS HAS STAIRS.
I think Ronen was asked about it at a Con and he confirmed the stair had always been there, and the set designs for the apartment was found and they showed the stairs too. But until that episode, the stairs had never been shown. It changed everything we thought we knew.
You probably think I'm exaggerating. And I am a little. But not that much. It blew out minds.
