DAY 28/Chicago:
During the MODA fashion show I got to run the photobooth - complete with big strobes and all kinds of cute props. We had fake mustaches and glasses for people to wear, but these fellas here decided to steal a couple pillows from the smartwater booth and pose. I don't know, I like funny people and this was pretty creative.
Also, I think it's kinda strange that Tiff & I both covered this big fashion show and the photos we ended up posting have nothing to do with models or fashion. It was a great show though! I highly recommend it!
PEACE,
Syd
DAY 27/Chicago:
UChicago's MODA Spring Fashion Show was at Chicago's Union Station this year. Beautiful space.

DAY 26/Chicago:
This is the same protest group that I've been posting a lot about lately, only this time they're in a warm building asking University "officials" hard-hitting questions about health care, bureaucratic policies, and why, at a meeting specifically designed to be a discussion between the University and students, no university official with any power or authority was at the meeting.
For the whole, controversial story surrounding the Trauma Center protests, including the arrests, trials, and undercover UCPD detectives, go to the Chicago Maroon. It's purdy interesting, unbelievable stuff.

DAY 22/Chicago:
This is Patrick Dexter, a third-year at the University of Chicago. He's an active member of the student group fighting for a level 1 trauma center on the south side of Chicago and can give one hell of a speech. As he asked during his speech at the University's grand opening for their new medical center, "This is the new "Center for Care and Discovery" building, but I ask, it's the center for whom and the discovery of what?"
