Look it's the kids through different times of Halloween
Here’s a small head canon, I came up with… What if Junior is actually a dropout of West Coast Tech? I always imagined that WCT was very Snobby, Elitist, and Classist… Which wouldn’t have meshed well with Ford at all…
I like to imagine that Ford is fully on board with Junior going and more excited than Jr. (This could potentially cause a tiny bit of tension, later.)
Then junior comes back from the holidays, and trying to hide it, the fact he really hates West Coast… and wants to dropout and go to Backupsmore like his dad and uncle… but then he’d cave and breaks down telling how he hates all of his classmates, his professors all look down on him for not being from a “Real” scientific family.
But all I want to know is how does Ford react to WCT’s true nature. How would he react to his nephew dropping out? Would he be as furious like how Stanley broke his project? Or would he consul his nephew breakdown, and apologizes for thrusting all his broken dreams and expectations on to him?
You know I've thought about it before about Junior going to West Coast Tech or the possibility of him going to college at an earlier age but he never does.
Why? He figures he would be bored out of his mind around those science-snobs. Junior isn’t just book-smart but also has a high charisma stat. (got the best things from his dads) so yes he could try going to WCT but then drops out after a few months due to how boring all the other students and teachers were. Adult Junior doesn’t have any grand dreams of being world known like his uncle, he would much rather own a mechanic shop and fix things for free.
Ford would be devastated hearing the reasons for Junior not wanting to stay in WCT, which would lead to fallout between them. Ford goes on about him wasting his genius to become a simple mechanic when he has the smart to revolutionise the world. Junior on the other hand calls Ford out about him trying to live through his nephew and that he never wanted to be a famous scientist to begin with.
This headcanon scenario I could see happen with Georgie, the youngest kid. He’s the one who clings to Ford the most and sees him as a great mentor. He’s however not that smart as their big bro but with Ford's help he gets in on a scholarship. Then when the holidays come, he breaks and tells his family all about how awful WCT is and how others had been treating him. Ford is devastated about what happened to poor Georgie and gets what Junior meant about it being a snob college. Things turn out well with Georgie going to Backsupmore (or another college nearby Oregon) while Ford and Junior reconcile for real.
Sometimes kids be kids and act all cheeky
I wonder how the Dippe and Mabel come into the story, I wonder what their relationship to the Stankids is like
It's actually pretty good. Dipper and Mabel occasionally met their dads cousins but it wasn't until a summer in 2012 when they really got to know them.
Junior becomes that chill uncle who always knows what to say and knows the solution to any problem. Of course he doesn’t say the answer but rather gives the younger twins a chance to figure it out with small hints and tidbits. He’s annoyingly sweet like that.
Daisy and Maisy don't care that much for Dipper and Mabel at first but somewhere in the middle of the summer the ladies are slightly less mean to them.
(Them near the end of the summer)
Lastly, Georgie. He and Dipper share a love of the unknown and with Soos as a handy support they occasionally have fun together.
Also here's their older selves in 2012
Can I ask what Stan.Jr’s relationship to his Uncle Ford is like? Are they best of friends?
Yes Stan Junior is Fords favorite nephew. Ford thought Junior was cute and all as a baby, but once he saw just how smart that little boy their bond really started to grow.
Junior looks up to Ford and thinks he's the smartest man in the world (then when he becomes a teenager he sees that Ford isn't that smart after all but still loves his uncle)
Some cute Fidds for Fiddleford Friday (Warning for mpreg under the cut)
Can we see the kids meeting their uncle Shermie and their cousin (Maybel and Dipper's dad) ?
Not perfect but here have some doodles of Shermie and son meeting Stan and the kids.
Stan would be one good domestic-husband. Not the best one but still
