As Today at Pemberley is entering the end game, I’ve been thinking about next steps.
Firstly,
I’m going to be doing a large scale edit and polish. The first couple weeks of AtPem are very different tonally then what became the voice of the series (the pianoforte making story arch was really where the series found itself). And I forgot that Easter is at a completely different time every year, so spring needs some changes to make it function as a perpetual calendar.
I’m going to post the new versions of the days as they happen and reblog the days that stay the same. So AtPem will post at what used to be its original time of 10:15 PST everyday for the next full calendar year.
I’m also going to work on making it accessible on Ao3, and I’ll post more progress pics of the paper calendar I’m making for my mom.
Secondly,
I’m going to do an advent calendar this December of Georgiana and Cecilia in London that’s canon to Today at Pemberley. I wanted to do this last December and just didn’t have the time.
Thirdly,
When Jane-uary is again upon us, I’ll be doing stuff for that. Probably something longer form rather than another daily microfiction series.

First Today at Pemberley reblog today! I correctly added it to the queue and everything--miraculous. The rebogs are also edited from the 1st edition, but either very small changes or I added a paragraph without changing the original text much. If I make significant changes I'm "archiving" the 2024 post and making a new "second edition" post.
