Just repostin’ standy stuff for someone,, it’s super long. :O
Stand concepts; Take on Me. (Tom.)
Tom is a very simple stand, and its power is more suited towards fun and creative shenanigans than causing actual harm.
Tom takes the form of a 6-foot tall humanoid with pine-green armor covering it very tightly and lithely, yet organically, almost as if it were its skin, and not much else; Its design is quite simple. It has eyes that resemble camera lenses, lit by red light. It has no mouth to speak of, but can unfold a passage directly into its esophagus to digest matter should it feel the need to do so. The armor affords it some protection, but besides this it’s as durable as a normal human.
Unlike most stands Tom cannot be “called back” or “returned”. The stand remains out permanently. Perhaps because of its always being out, the stand has a distinct personality, capable of the same thoughts, ideas, and creative processes as its user would. It can also speak through its “esophagus”, though normally, its user is the only one capable of hearing it. The range of the stand is very large, almost fifty meters. The stand also has the power of light levitation, as seen in most stands. It has only slightly above-average strength for a stand, and slightly above-average speed, perhaps due to its mechanical nature.
ABILITIES; Take on Me’s abilities are, perhaps, the most simple, at least in terms of wording, in that all it can do is “switch” with its owner. Switch what, exactly? Anything. Concepts, ideas, rules of existence. Appearances? Sure. The stand and user are irrevocably intertwined as a result, and must work together to use this ability, since it involves them both. Here’s the ability in action.
The user of this stand can turn invisible whenever they want by trading the switching the following concept with the stand; “Stands cannot be seen by humans.”, and switching around as well the nature of “human” for that of a “stand”. As a result of this, the human cannot be seen by those who can’t see stands, because he has become a stand. He may choose not to switch other things, such as appearance or not being able to be heard. The rules of stand-dom and human-dom may be mixed and matched as they see fit.
They can also switch such things as places, possessions, and knowledge between one another. This makes this stand excellent for reconnaissance work, as the two of them can report to each other perfectly.
Any and all “switching” is instant, and both the stand and user have intrinsic knowledge of the timing involved in this.
Second ability; When both stand and user are touching, any attributes, concepts, ideas, etcetera may be shared equally among them selectively. They can both gain the ability to float, or both be able to turn invisible to non-stand-users, and so on. Even things such as the possession of an object may be shared; If so, this results in them actually duplicating the object, so they both may possess it. Indeed, any such normally impossible things will occur, to allow them to share in something.
Take on Me Requiem; Takes the appearance of the original stand, but with a few key differences; The armor is now made of interlocking parts, which allow the stand to change its shape somewhat, being able to become taller or wider at a moment’s notice. Its eyes are now filled with sparkling light, leaving a trail of wispy light in its path. Its durability is increased due to the armor being like the chain-link style that knights used to use, though not exactly in that fashion.
Tom Requiem’s ability allows it redefine the rules of its existence as it sees fit, in addition to its previous abilities. For example, instead of being able to float slightly, it could become able to fly quickly. It could temporarily boost its power to be immeasurable, or make itself faster than anyone could see. Of course, it involves its user in these acts; It can also alter the rules of human existence, and share equally with its user any changes it has picked up; From a distance, if it decides to alter that rule too!
All of this is temporary, however; As the changes become more drastic, and the rules bend further, the light in its eyes will go out more and more, until they go totally dark. This results in total lack of bodily function for the stand, and, usually, for the user as well, almost always resulting in death for him.
Take on Me’s personality is important to go over as well; It enjoys learning things above all else, greatly enjoying watching others and observing its surroundings, and reading books, which it can do quite quickly with its enhanced mechanical vision. It also enjoys meeting other stands, though this often doesn’t come up. It rather enjoys combat, but dislikes excessive violence, and would never kill anyone. It also enjoys learning about physiology, oftentimes dissecting dead creatures to see how they’re put together. It loves listening to music, but dislikes Irish Rock because it confuses it, it says. It refers to itself as Tom, or Take on Me if it feels formal, and doesn’t at all mind being referred to as an it. Tom is also quite philosophical, often pondering how it and other stands came into existence, and wishes of one day solving this mystery.
Its user is Joseppe.
They sometimes clash with each other, but far more often than that, they agree, lending them strength. They also both greatly enjoy hugs, and are constant sources of support for each other.
