NASTY HABITS

ABILITY: Sentient stand that can reveal the thoughts of others within a 30 yard radius to its user. This is displayed in comical thought bubbles above a person's head. However, if the user becomes too emotional, Nasty Habits will display the user's thoughts above their head for all stand users to see. Until they manage to control their emotions, their thoughts will continued to be displayed.

DESCRIPTION: The middle school boy of stands. Nasty Habits doesn't hesitate to bully its user or anyone in sight, for that matter. Openly mocks La Squadra, but (obviously) targets Ovoli. A great stand for informant jobs and defense, but shit at fighting. Can openly speak, but it's stand cry is "Gero Gero", meaning "disgusting" (げろげろ) as an adjective in Japanese.

it wouldn't be a golden wind oc if the stand didn't represent its user's trauma, so:

METAPHOR: Nasty Habits very clearly represents Ovoli's insecurities, voicing them out of sheer spite, but also how his pain isn't taken seriously. How his issues are ignored, and are only ever spoken/dealt with when outright shouted. The name "Nasty Habits" itself references Ovoli's nasty habit of emotional repression and self-harm as a way to deal with himself, and it's ability is also just a jab at the poor guy's history as a victim to bullying.

I chose to make Nasty Habits a some-what snake like figure since snakes represent betrayal (how Ovoli feels having his secrets shared without his consent), but also healing. The only way Ovoli can truly wield his stand with total power is to control his emotions, most importantly stress.

I’m really excited to finally share the traditional sheet for Seraphim🪽(Seonghwa’s Stand). This is the first one I made so everything is a little everywhere, layout wise🤧 The details aren’t 100% final yet, and I’ve taken some creative liberties with the concepts, but I still tried to stay true to each member’s essence, so please read it with an open heart
