“No matter what, I’ll always look at you and think you’re the most breathtaking thing I’ve ever seen.”
“Why the hell did you have to do this to me today? Why couldn’t you have – have waited, until tomorrow?” Alex’s voice is desperate. “What? What difference would it make?” “It’s fucking Valentine’s Day, Jack!”
So, six years later. This is what happened next. Today was the day Alex Gaskarth was getting married.
LONG-AWAITED SEQUEL TO FIREWORKS
Alex and Jack are best friends. They’ve been best friends for as long as they can remember. If Alex thinks hard enough, he can kind of recall the first time he spoke to Jack, but not very well. But anyway, that’s not important. Alex is in love with his best friend. Alex loves Jack - so much, that he's willing to let Jack use him. Zack's not a fan of Alex's behavior.
Jack gets a little possessive.
Jack has an idea for a song title, but Alex needs some convincing.
“What happens when you go to school next week, and I’m stuck here?” The smaller, shorter boy shrinks in on himself, knowing that his question just made him extremely vulnerable. He wraps his arms around his knees and looks at his boyfriend carefully, trying to figure out what the answer will be before he even speaks. “I’ve really thought about it, actually,” the older of the two responds as he closes his notebook, “And I mean… there’s really only one option, I guess.”
