“Jack!” I yelled as the tall dark haired boy flung another handful of hot pink paint at me, hitting me square in the chest. “What are you gunna do about it pretty boy?” He taunted with that grin of his that he always got when he was up to no good, no good at all.
I felt my body being spun around, a pressure around my middle from where Jack’s arms were wrapped around my waist. I had my arms twisted around his neck, holding myself to him tightly so I wouldn’t fall, or slip out of his grip from the rain that was falling from the sky, landing all around us.
Then the door opens and he is joined by another boy; the boy he desires so badly it might actually kill him.
“Hey ‘Lex. Can you promise me something?” Jack asked carefully, a slight trace of fear in his voice.
“Sure. What is it?” He asked inquisitively, eyebrows meeting together in confusion. Jack met his gaze, with eyes filled with sorrow and heartache he uttered the one sentence that has been lingering in the back of his mind all day.
“Never leave me. Please.”
He’s expressed to you so many times how much he wishes you’d quit; how much he wants you to find a safe, normal job.
