Alex and Jack are best friends. They’ve been best friends for as long as they can remember. If Alex thinks hard enough, he can kind of recall the first time he spoke to Jack, but not very well. But anyway, that’s not important. Alex is in love with his best friend. Alex loves Jack - so much, that he's willing to let Jack use him. Zack's not a fan of Alex's behavior.
What happens when the one you’re with isn’t the one you want?
He’s done this to himself. He knows that. The reason he’s alone is because he can’t bother staying loyal to Jack. He tried – for about a month or two. But after that, he just didn’t see what the purpose was. Why should he stay faithful to someone just because they claimed to love him? He decided he shouldn’t have to – and he didn’t. Jack doesn’t know. At least, Alex doesn’t think he does. His band travels so much that there’s really no time for Jack to even figure it out. But Alex does feel bad – Jack loves him. Jack treats him so well. Jack deserves better than someone who gets knocked up by a stranger while he’s away on tour. So much better.
