Vampire!Oliver mixed with Connor’s breakdown.
Following Oliver throwing Connor out of his apartment, the two of them try to come to terms with their feelings.
When Oliver tells him to get out and shuts the door in his face, Connor tells himself that it doesn’t matter, that he doesn’t care, that he’ll just move on. It’s no big deal. So if that’s the truth, why can’t he stop thinking about Oliver?
Connor’s not jealous. He isn’t. He doesn’t care seeing Oliver with someone else. At least, that is what he tries to tell himself.
Connor is completely questioning his morals right now.
Connor’s not sick, okay?
Just because he has a temperature and a blocked nose and a sore throat and everyone keeps telling him he’s sick - that doesn’t mean he is.
And he certainly doesn’t need looking after.
This was the day, the day they had been planning for months. He was getting married today.
