It’s me again, Stand!

Finally, after sixth month, dealing with hellish final exam and college entrance test, i’m back to Tumblr again! Yeeeaaaaay~

You don’t know how much i miss this blog and you guys. :”)

First, i’m so sorry that i suddenly left without telling all of you. And i’m still feeling guilty because there are stil some important business that i can’t done yet in Tumblr. For you that some month before sent me message, i will reply it as soon as possible.

Should I watch this Super Sentai Strongest Battle? I want to watch it since there are a lot of returning Sentai actors and actress. But I don't really like the 'fighting each other to get your wish granted' theme. :(

I’m personally enjoying it, but I can see how it wouldn’t be for everyone. ^^

If it helps, the ‘fighting’ is actually quite friendly (excepting Gaizorg), with many of the characters even having polite conversation before and after and encourage and motivate each other; none of the characters are actually trying to kill each other (again, excepting Gaizorg), with losers just being teleported off the planet (allegedly, later reveals may change this); and all show respect for each other’s wishes when they hear them. Most injury has either been due to Gaizorg’s interference, or the characters over-doing it and over exerting themselves.

And while that is the basis, a large part of the plot is actually characters noting how suspicious that setup is, and investigating the situation, even using their ‘matches’ to discuss it. The mystery of Gaizorg also takes up a good amount of focus. And it is only four weeks long, so they veer off from the original setting pretty quickly.

I can totally understand not being a fan of the premise, though. I’ve personally never been a fond of any sort of ‘team in-fighting’ storylines, but I feel like this is easier for me bc none of the characters are fighting bc they dislike or are angry at each other, but rather in a sort of friendly sparring match (or simply to go through the motions while investigating), and they immediately band together again when they get the chance. I also feel like it has pretty solid writing, too, which makes the characters engaging enough for me to look beyond the ‘fighting each other’ premise.

I will admit, though, that some of the cameos do go by pretty fast, if that would also influence your decision. It’s still quite emotional to see the characters again, but I think the shortness of time meant that they kind of had to breeze through (they also may have been trying to work around busy schedules).

I don’t know if any of this helps, and I’m sorry I rambled so much. Also, I’m really sorry it took me so long to get to this, I’ve had a rather busy day.

You must be really glad with Spada and Tsurugi interaction in Space 22, since both of them is your faves. ^^

I was really happy indeed! ^^ It was a great episode! Plenty of amazing moments for both Spada and Tsurugi and they added the new ending which was just beyond adorable ^^

But I hope everyone enjoyed the episode, no matter who their favorite characters are. The only downside was the sheer amount of work that went into all the gifs for this week xD but I just finished them so now I can relax and I won’t have to worry about kyuranger gifs untill Space23

1. How did you get into toku?

I don’t entirely remember, but I know Boukenger and Kamen Rider OOO helped me get through college. w/ a dose of Dekaranger. I think I was into it before, but then forgot, but then was rewatching PR SPD and remembered. ^^

11. Favourite henshin gimmick?

A very difficult question. I think I may have to say the medals from OOO. Like, the medals themselves, wasn’t too crazy about the Driver.

12. Weirdest thing you’ve seen?

Bold of you to think I remember the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. That time Gackt was in BIMA and kept speaking English, maybe.

13. Which character death upset you the most?

Define ‘upset.’ In general, Ankh’s is top of the list, bc it’s been ten years, and I’m still waiting. Otherwise I’m sad when a character I’m fond of or a fave dies, I was very upset about Horobi’s death in 15, for ex, but that was more like… Bc the emotional intensity was so good.

14. Least favourite character(s)?

Hmm… Recently, or… Huh. In no order: Aruto, Parad, Katsuragi Takumi, Yotagaki Williamson, AbreKiller in some ways, Korenosuke, THE FUCKING GRANDPA FROM NINNINGER, Kairi on some days, Kogure, Noel whenever he’s not doing flips. Honestly, I might be able to go on, but I think I’ll stop there.

17. If you could cosplay any character, who would it be?

I think I did this one, but Fuwa for recent characters, or actually maybe Ikazuchi, and then any of the KR ladies w/ normal clothes. Or the Sentai ladies w/ normal clothes.

18. If you could meet any actor, who would it be?

If I could meet Sunagawa and Okada, and I would immediately start sobbing and probably die. ^^;
