In the unforgiving chill of November 2024, beginning November 30, I stood resolute, protesting at the UNHCR office in Athens beneath an unyielding sky as torrential rain poured relentlessly through December 06. 🌧️ Each drop mirrored my despair, stripped of dignity and shelter, starving amidst society’s apathy. Under a supermarket’s fluorescent glare, I found hope, despite indifference from over eighty agencies, pleading for €500, a bridge between despair and shared humanity. 🕊️
