@chocolateandtulle This campaign for @BalletMet was, one of the most unbelievable moments of my entire career. Never in a million years did I think I’d be chosen to represent a ballet company on such a grand scale. It was something I never saw growing up; it is something I rarely ever see, to this day. When my family got to finally see the wallscape, my younger sister had one of the most poignant reactions. @jonesie92 and I grew up together, and danced at the same studio; she knew, firsthand what it was like to follow your dreams with very few tangible role models. I knew what this meant to her, because it meant the same to me: we know the impact of a visible black ballerina.
