Mary and the boys saw Arthur off at the train station as he headed off to war. Though he was filled with anxiety, Arthur did his best to put on a brave face for his family, who were very sad to see him go.

The triplets are now toddlers! All three boys have inherited their mother’s fiery hair. (For anyone curious about which is which, they are from left to right- Peter, Stanley, and Robert).

While out walking, Robert was the first to read the news- the nation was now at war. He rushed home to tell the rest of the family. The air was filled with anxiety as everyone wondered what would happen next.

At school, Stanley is very popular. He gets a lot of attention from the girls in his class and loves flirting with them. Stan even sneaks off with some of the boys from time to time in secret- and loves flirting with them just as much.

Arthur and Mary love to spend as much time as they can with their boys. Stanley is a wild bundle of energy who is always running around the house, keeping Mary on her toes. Robert is very bright and inquisitive, though he mostly likes to keep to himself. Finally, Peter is a clingy but adorable little mama’s boy who is almost always found at his mother’s side.

Goodbye Arthur, Stanley, and Peter Finch. All three were taken from the world too early by the horrors of war. They will be deeply missed by their family and all who knew them.

Though Mary was overjoyed to have Robert home again, his homecoming was overshadowed by the terrible news- the war had claimed the lives of his brothers Stanley and Peter, and their father, Arthur. Mary suddenly found herself a widow, and Robert was no longer a triplet but an only child.
