29 ”I thought you were dead.”Kenny was just finishing up in the bathroom, letting the warm water drown his hands in the sink as he sighed a little. He had just reached for a paper towel when he heard something fall to the floor. He turned curiously and blinked at the boy in the doorway before putting on a smile“Hey Butters”  he said softly and turned back to drying his hands“I thought you were dead” Butters mumbled lowly, though it was loud enough for Kenny to hear him. Kenny’s eyes widened slightly and he turned to Butters again“what?” he asked, thinking he had probably heard wrong. Butters took a step closer, stumbling a little over his backpack that he had dropped earlier.“I thought..you died” he said as he stared at Kenny. Kenny swallowed thickly as Butters stepped even closer with small careful steps, and then suddenly Butters was right infront of him, only a few inches away.“I saw..” He mumbled with a small frown as he lifted a shaky hand to Kenny’s cheek. Kenny wrapped his arms around Butters in a tight hug, Butters seemed surprised but hugged him back just as tightly.
