“What consequences?” she scoffed. She should have known better. 

Eric doesn’t touch her. He doesn’t need to. He brushes by her, completely innocent as he passes by. He walks around shirtless, the towel barely covering himself and he smirks when he feels her watching him. He knows Amelia. Better than she knows herself sometimes and the fact that he can’t touch her…that’s not just punishment for him. It goes both ways. Still, he’s eager to see how long it takes her to snap, to reach for him. 

If she hears his groans as he touches himself away from her, her name on his lips, she doesn’t say anything. He knows that she heard him. He can see the tension in her frame, the way she watches him and how she starts trying to tempt him to break. It’s laughable but he can’t complain. Not when she shows herself like this. Hair loose the way he likes it, the tight skirts and the way he can hear her breath those soft fucking sounds she makes when she touches herself. It’s a slow torture, especially when they both knowingly do it in the other’s range. 

Finally, she breaks. After a day when he knows Jeanine has hounded her with more responsibility, all it takes is her to see another woman flirting with him. Toni is one of the kindest people out there. The store she runs acts as a Sanctuary to all those who need it and she never turns someone away.

2) Does your OC behave differently towards other people depending upon how useful or not they might be to them?

No. Toni only behaves differently depending on the person and their actions...mainly if they are a threat to her and her own.

Diligence:

1 ) Does your OC have a particularly strong work ethic? Do they believe that hard work is good in itself? Or do they prefer to relax whenever possible?

She does but her work is to protect people, offer Sanctuary and baking. She finds that rewarding. Her work, as she knows, is never done.

2. Does your OC believe that they can control outcomes in their life through their own efforts? Or do they see themselves as a helpless puppet of forces beyond their control?

She knows that you cannot control the universe but you can still attempt to protect those that need it and adjust the course as much as you can. There is a balance between what the universe demands and what you can control.

3. Does your OC work better on their own or with others?

She works well both ways. She is often on her own because her work is not something that is really shared, but she does work well with others when the situation calls for it. Often she is the one who is requested to assist others (and if she is not available, either her mother or sister are).

4. Does your OC enjoy their job or profession for its own sake? Or is it merely a means to an end?

She enjoys it and takes pride in it. How can she not when she is helping people?

5. Is your OC particularly tidy and organised? Or do they tend to be more messy and chaotic?

She is fairly organized, especially her work place which is a bakery and it has to be clean. It is easier to work and get things done when things are organized and clean. Especially with some of her supplies.

She is not in the start of Crossfire. Her first experience was with someone who was far more interested in her than she was and if she's honest with herself, she admits to using them. It was after Kelly's death (pre Crossfire) and she was just trying to feel something. It was not great.

2. Does, or did, your OC consider sexual purity to be an important concept? If this is something about which they have changed their mind then what prompted this?

No. Michelle's a private person and she grew up Catholic but she could care less about what other people get up to unless they're hurting someone.

3. Are they judgmental about the romantic or sexual lives of others? Do they believe that monogamy is the only true form of relationship? Or do they view others who are less sexually adventurous as dull or repressed?

No, but she does like to be told what her friends are up to. It's a matter of trust (ex. when she finds out about Kelly and Dean by walking in on them). She does not believe that monogamy is the only form of a relationship but she prefers it herself. She also doesn't view others as repressed. To each their own.

No. Her first experience was very clinical, to be honest. Both her and her companion chose each other to experiment when they were teenagers. There was little emotion to it. (which is a giant contrast to her experiences with Eric...)

No. Erudite is a fairly logical faction and there was no education in the idea of purity. The body does what it does and hormones are a complete natural thing. Especially when everyone is expected to have 2 children when they are married.

Absolutely not. Amelia is far too focused on her own survival to care what anyone else does. She doesn't even plan to get married or have children herself because of her Divergence.

No. Amelia doesn't actually really have any friends in The Art of Seclusion. She holds herself back. She's definitely more concerned about herself.

She is compared to others. Bawdy jokes aren't really a thing in Erudite and she's determined to be the perfect one. Eric enjoys pushing her buttons.

Temperance:

How good is your OC at self-control? Are there some things they struggle to resist more than others?

She excels at self control...expect where Eric is involved. He knows exactly how to break it and he enjoys seeing her react emotionally.

Hahaha, she is calm and controlled to the rest of Erudite. Until Riley threatens her and Eric threatens everyone else.

She does not drink. She prefers to be in complete control. She doesn't come across it much in Erudite.

No.

5. Does your OC prefer quiet or solitary activities or are they a party animal who enjoys being the centre of attention?

She prefers to be alone. She enjoys reading and being with her family. She does not get a lot of time to do either of those.
