so I went through a shallow rabbit hole on wookiepedia.com about Hutts, oddly enough, and I once again ran across an inconsistency within the timeline. This, being Star Wars, is completely normal. But this particular bit made me pause.
So, for those who enjoy perusing Star Wars fanfiction like I do, I have a question.
When did the Hutts come to Tattooine?
The canon article for Tattoine doesn't say and is unhelpful at best.
The Legends version of that article states that they arrived in

huh????
Now, wait a minute, I thought. That can't be right. The Hutt's Hostile Takeover of Tattooine was much longer than that, surely.
And so I reread Jabba's article, and it says that he moved into his place in 516 BBY.
Which, sort of makes more sense. Sort of.
Either way, my brain is trying to process a timeline.
Also this was not my initial reason I looked into Hutts, that was *something else entirely*
I’m being plunged back into my Star Wars obsession, but this obsession isn’t with canon star wars, it’s with the alternate version that exists only in my head, in which star wars is actually good, in which i distort and obsessively correct canon.
i have my own alternative sequel trilogy and animated series that is completely divorced from reality, an alternate meta-timeline in which I time-traveled to the 70s to insert my OC and my input into George Lucas’s script and in which Disney actually cared about their creative output. I have an OC that I’ve had since I was thirteen, and she’s essentially one of the main characters of the entire franchise. The franchise that exists only in my head.
It’s been months. I thought I was free from my delusions at last. Someone help me.
