Just Play Dead Trailer

Criminal mastermind Jack has just let his wife Nora know that they have been living on embezzled money and are about to be arrested. His plan - fake his death for insurance money and frame his wife's lover. While finding the patsy, she decides instead to turn things around, kill Jack for real, and keep the money and her new lover. The couples' cat and mouse game gets even more convoluted when the feds get involved and Nora seduces one of them, too.

Just Play Dead stars Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Green, Jason Fernández, Eion Macken, and María Pedraza. The film is directed by Martin Campbell from a screenplay by Dan Gordon.

Just Play Dead releases to select theaters on August 28, 2026, and On Digital on September 1, 2026.
