Summary:
There is similarities between Starscream and Bumblebee - and Starscream took the opportunity to point them out to Bumblebee. Coaxing eventually sees Bumblebee turn against the Autobots, though working alongside them until Starscream has the pieces together for their ultimate goal. No longer will they be pawns in a war game played by ungrateful leaders; it's time they took it into their own more capable hands. With a little help from others who sympathize with them, of course. A new era is about to dawn on Cybertron - one without Autobots or Decepticons.

— land plot belonged to raven, passed on to qrow after her disappearance.
— qrow is still alive, but only really comes to check in on the land once a year! eventually he decided to pass it on to yang and gave her the deed in a letter, for when she “needed it the most“
— yang, present day 26 y/o, was born and raised in patch, but moved to signal city starting college. once out of it, she worked in a lonely office for schnee corporation aka the equivalent for joja. Thrive
— one day she had Enough and opened the letter. she decided to give it a chance and start a new life back in her hometown! she quit her job, and moved back to Patch Town as soon as she could.
— the first thing she did upon arrival was visit taiyang and ruby, who stayed in patch town! it’d been nearly 8 years since she last visited though; and so much of it had changed.
— team cfvy, team jnpr, and team sssn among others are residents of the town! though yang is only familiar with team cfvy, whom she used to hang out with as a kid.
— old faces are thrilled to see yang again, while new ones are glad to finally meet the yang people tend to mention from time to time!
— many things have broken down and find themselves in ruins, like the local community center and the bus stop. it breaks yang’s heart to see it all in disarray
— she decides to make a farm out of the land and renames it “Bumblebee Farm“!
— yang organizes and plans a lot the initial blueprints of the farm; she wants it to be prosperous and thriving, and she looks over and over and plans for the long road ahead
— nonetheless, she starts small; with a few seasonal crops, she focuses on berries! it’s not much at first, but it keeps her going while she prepares
— about a week into farming, ruby visits yang and suggests that she explores the whole town and further familiarizes herself with its residents. who knows what kind of experiences she’s missing out on after all
— she does indeed, meet more people whom she missed out on initially, as well as getting into other activities such as fishing, mining, and discovering the junimos at the community center, and a strange old wizard in a tower.
— and of course, that’s when she first sees a quiet faunus girl in the forest southern of her farm
— she just kinda. stares initially? this girl is pretty Pretty. she’s just reading, but she looks kind of. ethereal? while she does it. How does she do it.
— after a minute or so the girl notices yang staring, and yang, very much embarrased, runs back to whatever it was that she was doing before finding Her
— after that, yang and the girl’s paths just keep on interwining with each other. at the library, at the local store, at the clinic, just near Everywhere, but they never... talk.
— yang finds out from rwby that her name is blake of course. she’s always at the library, or at the beach, and is fond of the wilderness
— the mayor of patch town, Ghira Belladonna, comes down at the beginning of summer, and takes the chance to introduce himself and his family to yang! and of course. of course blake is there, and of course she is the mayor’s daughter.
— that day is the first time they really get to talk and introduce themselves. and there’s just something about blake, that she can’t quite put a name to it, but she enjoys her company a lot.
— and blake enjoys yang’s company too!
— they hang out sometimes after that. yang learns a lot about blake. she loves seafood, and she likes flowers. she’s allergic to dogs, and enjoys quietness and adventure. day by day, they’re becoming closer
— yang still has a hard time deciding on her farm and its layout. it’s though work, but she’s grown attached to it, and everyday it comes a little closer to her own ideals.
— one day blake gets to have a look at it. to honor its namesake, she suggests adding more flowers and bees, and give it appropiate space.
