cracks knuckles alright lets do this--

it's been a hot minute since i've been involved in the RP community, partially because my old blog was shadow-banned for over a year & i only got that sorted after i archived / moved blogs again, & partially because i've just been so busy IRL that i had a 6-month no-show stint here for the first half of this year ---- but seeing fae on my dash upon my return honestly made me feel so warm & fuzzy inside, & perhaps it's weird because we really haven't interacted much IC or OOC at all, but it made me feel comfortable & like i'd come home .

i'm mostly used to fae from their chibiusa blog, though i know they have others, & having gotten into HSR myself within the last two years, seeing they had a blog for TB made me smile & made me so giddy, honestly ; fae always does so well with all of their characters, & you can tell they love them all so very dearly, it's so precious & heartwarming .

fae is a lovely person to see on the dash, to chat with & to read writing from - i hope that we can interact at least a bit more over time, either IC or OOC ( or both ! ), & i hope they know that they're loved, cherished & adored by so many people on this platform <3

          “   you’re imagining things.   ”   train guard replied confidently, not even glancing towards stelle as he took advantage of march’s distracted state to steal a watermelon slice off her plate. she had her knees on her chair, facing towards the backrest in order to speak to pompom on the other side of the dining car. taking advantage of the fact that march tended to be a very slow and distracted eater was definitely not something that the ever reliable, and ever honest dan heng would do. of course not. but, teaching oneself the value of finishing food was another thing. and if march still intended to finish said watermelon, then an all the more important one.

the guard finished the fruit, and even most of the green rind, before rising from the table with his plate. he unceremoniously dropped it onto stelle’s empty plate while he walked away, before calling out,   “   march, watch your food.   ”   trying to hide his smile as stelle was left with the evidence of his crimes, and an offended march.

dan heng was nothing if not secretly competitive. but for him to act with no sense of thought or reason, only stelle could prompt such a reckless response without thought to anyone who could be watching. the hunt reflexes cut in before she had the chance to run away, ignoring the sting of wherever she’d claimed her mark to bite atop her collarbone just shy of the dip between shoulder and neck. he was just shy of elongated his draconic fangs when the inappropriateness of the situation dawned on him, and dan heng promptly pulled away, returning to his book with a hypocritical, “ behave. ” on his lips.

" some of these only half count, but since you went to the trouble of annotating some of your answers, i'll allow it. " let's be real, he let her get away with too much stuff as is. " five bingos. what do you want as a prize ? "

this synthesised body of his cannot remember enough about the stellaron’s past, what or what it meant to process the emotions of ‘ the one left behind. ’ maybe, when they were nothing but ether that kind of thing was incomprehensible, and there were no malleable feelings he could put neat little stickers on labelled ‘ loneliness ’ and grief. maybe they were hard to name because a stellaron could not feel incomplete, not if it’s only form and function was to devour and destroy. watching his other half from the spires of the dragonvista rainhall, he wondered if stelle could understand these emotions better, without the lingering remnants of their origin coating his brain like a thick bed of stardust.

it’s with a practiced grace that he descended from his perch, golden eyes honed on his twin as the other nameless started moving towards their next location. the movement to lean forward and tug on her coat was smooth and cat-like, the mimicry of kafka evident in everything that he did. there was still a level of impulsivity allotted in every script, a section with his name on it, though this - maybe this was against the rules. he’d been warned not to talk to her yet, to wait for her to form her own opinions on the finality, the stellaron hunters, the trailblaze, and the destruction, but who were they to control him ? after all, rules were made to be broken.

“   got a lot on your mind, huh, sis ?   ”

there’s an advantage to knowing and understanding so far ahead, and an itchy kind of disdain to knowing what he couldn’t say or do yet. doing this, was already going to get him in trouble, better not push the bar too far, otherwise he’d be the next one on roster to throw in his bounty for some petty cash. he moved around her playfully, observing like one does a boss in a video game, though it was hard to tell which one of them was the main character in this instance.

“   hey, can i see your bat ?   it always looks fuckin’ sick when i see security footage.   mine’s just a plain old sword, can’t get it to switch up yet   -   ”
