mogai hell story: i thought i was a cishet girl, then i heard about the split attraction model and used it to justify my previously suppressed crushes on girls by calling myself biromantic heterosexual, and i lived like that for a while and had girlfriends but suppressed any sexual attraction to them because i thought that was gross, then i finally came to terms with the fact that i was bi, then a demigirl, then a trans boy, now bi and agender and all of this happened ages 12-16

13. What are you gonna do Saturday night? 

Depends on other people. I might play dnd that evening and there’s a decent chance I’ll spend the night with @a-wandering-intern depending how scheduling works out

16. Do you think you’ll change in the next 3 months?

Hope so cause I’m not too happy with where I’m at as a person right now. Constantly working on improving my mental health and coping skills and my mental stance on other human beings and my relationship to them. Also hopefully the swelling on my chest post-top surgery will go down more and make my chest less lumpy (although i’m worried it’s not just swelling), so there’s that for physical change.

20. Are you starting to realize anything?

Sorta? Analyzing my mental state re: other people more. Also I realized that if I’m scared I’ll kill myself then that means some part of me wants to stay alive so I’m trying to get in touch with that more.

21. Are you in a good mood?

Better than I have been, although a little anxious and very tired. 

24. What do you want right this second?

To be done with my homework, a glass of milk, my boyfriend to be happy, and to sleep

43. Ever embarrass yourself in front of a crush?

We don’t talk about 6th grade

56. Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid?

Very young: both a ballerina and an airplane pilot at the same time. Later on: scientist, teacher, artist, writer... I wasn’t quite sure where I was going to end up once I started actually thinking about what it meant. Narrowed it down year by year and now I’m pretty settled on physicist, although that’s still a pretty wide field.

74. What is your favorite book?

The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. LeGuin (rip). I only wish I had discovered it earlier in my life. I really admire how she used gender and the lack thereof in the book and it was very, very insightful for the time she wrote it, and still is today. I honestly don’t have words for how much this book means to me and I think it would be really neat to see a modern take on it (there’s some lit fanfic out there but not very much sadly)

daisy - what’s your best childhood memory? 

probably meeting one of my best friends in a bush at camp when we were 10. neither of us were allowed in there and we both thought it was our bush and were offended at the other’s presence. then we bonded over reading books and squishing berries on rocks and both having scientist/engineer parents

narcissus - your best physical feature?

one time my boyfriend told me i had pretty eyes and i still think about that honestly. objectively speaking i have no clue.

freesia - are you still friends with the person you considered your best friend two years ago?

yeah!

alstroemeria - dream vacation?

i’m going to italy with my boyfriend this summer and that’s pretty much my dream vacation so yeah

snapdragon - favourite mythical creature?

well it’s gotta be dragons hasn’t it? i didn’t own the dragonology book, at least 2 other books on dragon classification, and numerous dragon drawing books when i was a kid for nothing

heather - what’s your favourite musical?

hmm, i don’t really watch/listen to musicals? but i’m going to see hamilton in may and i listened to it one time and liked it, so we’ll go with that

No children emotionally devastates everyone like once in a while when I'm depressed and spiraling "I am drowning, there is no sign of land. You are coming down with me, hand in unloveable hand" plays in my head and I cannot get it out

i have a SHOCKINGLY vivid memory of watching Moral Orel and that song coming on in the last season and standing in my kitchen SOBBING my stupid eyes out
