Also bareknuckle boxing, riding bareback, and smoking occasionally.Phobias: Heights, actually, despite the fact that he’s a pilot. He doesn’t connect the feeling and fear of standing on the edge of something high with actually being in a plane. Also, crashing and not knowing where he is. Also, one of his family (his family is large and unconventional) dying and him not knowing about it. (He cares an awful lot about his family.)What They Would Be Famous For: Probably doing some wild and record-breaking aerial stunt.What They Would Get Arrested For: See above, also punching someone who punched him first.OC You Ship Them With: No one,,,,,yet. There’s going to be someone, I’m sure. He likes things to turn out okay, partially because his own life has been very uncertain at points.Talents and/or Powers: He can ride horses well and he’s an absolute flying ace. He can fly anything, really. He’s also good at boxing, making friends, and looking out for people.Why Someone Might Love Them: He’s such a sweetheart. He’s raised in a house of three adult women, two adult men, a teenage boy, and a horse, so he’s well loved and looked after. He makes friends very easily partially out of his desire to look after the people he cares about. As a pilot, he’s always the last to leave the airfield, always chatting everyone up. He’s always the last of his squadron to land, to make sure everyone else gets home safely. He’s empathetic and feels very deeply, and he’s very physically affectionate, always putting an arm around his friends, kissing them on the forehead, things like that.Why Someone Might Hate Them: Some people might find his earnestness and ability to smile so easily annoying, as well as his desire to look after everyone and his physically affectionate behavior. Not everyone likes that kind of thing, of course! He also has a real mess of a dialect/accent on account of being raised by a wildly diverse group of people.How They Change: He grows up a lot. He originally was designed only as a baby to fit in a story with his “family”, but I ended up really liking him and fleshing him out as a young adult as well. So that’s significant. Also, on account of his place in time and space, he does go to war, and it does fuck him up a little. Not terribly- I’m thinking he gets out without PTSD or significant trauma, but the war is long and tedious and stressful and gets him thinking a lot about the futility of war, and he witnesses some atrocities and deaths of friends, which is very hard for him. (I was thinking recently I wish he didn’t have to go to war, but then I realized…I did that to him…I call the shots! boy i love being a content creator jdslkfjds)Why You Love Them: oh it’s easy to tell isn’t it? I’m really enjoying working on his character right now because he is such a bright ray of sunshine, so talented and sweet. He’s my happy place character right now, because he’s so nice to think about. I really, really love him. (and he is Sqoshy. gosh he’s so cute)
