Planet Mirovia dazzles the eye from orbit—its surface a kaleidoscope of scintillating crystal sands under a thin atmosphere streaked with violet high-altitude clouds. Approximately three-quarters the size of Earth, Mirovia reflects a significant amount of sunlight, giving it a bright, almost luminous appearance from space. The surface is dominated by vast deserts of sharp crystal sands, varying in color from deep amethyst to soft rose, landscapes that undulate in endless shimmering dunes. Extreme temperatures during the day can clock in near 312 K, which contributes to the occasional towering dust devil, twirling fragments of crystal that catch the light and sparkle menacingly. Some areas are riddled with the formations of crystal spires that jut from the earth like jagged teeth, shining under Mirovia’s twin suns. Solar radiance interacts with the mineral-rich sands, casting eerie, glittering glows that shift with the planet’s calm, thin breezes, creating a mesmerizing, yet harsh environment.
