okay so I started college today and oh my gosh it is a lot of work I feel like I cant do and I'm really stressing out. any advice?
I barely started uni myself too! I know its kind of overwhelming but here are some of the things I’ve been doing to keep on top of everything!
1) make lists and mark deadlines
I know everyone says this but its gonna help! and including deadlines is super important bc there are so many of them and its gonna get confusing. mark it in a calendar you check frequently eg your phone or laptop’s calendar, or the calendar in your daily planner.
for some stuff like small online quizzes and pre-lecture assignments that dont take much time to do, do it immediately once you receive notification for it (especially if its graded)! stuff like this gets especially annoying when it piles up.
3) take note of what is graded and what is not
if you have a planner it would be nice to dedicate a page for listing down all the courses/modules you take in the semester and then writing down the assessment/grading system for each course.
i’m only a couple of weeks into my first sem of uni and i’m already realising how important time management is!!! honestly i’m still working on this myself so i don’t think i have the right to offer advice but there are probably some on my tagged/tips!
